Over the past few months I had made appointments I couldn't keep. Between a domestic violence issue and Covid life got chaotic. You don't know when these things will happen, but I always stayed in contact. I always let them know as soon as I knew, most times with hours if not days notice. It was never last minute. Then on Sept. 6, 2022 I made an appointment for the next day. That evening or next morning I asked to reschedule to a new time or day. They informed me that I had to cancel or reschedule 48 hours out, but I had made the appointment less than 48 hours ago. Communications through ******** Messenger continued and we chose a new date and time on Sept. 8, 2022 at noon. They informed me that they would see me at this time and that from that point on they would only see me as a same day or walk in. However, upon arriving at the salon, at 11:45am, I was told I wasn't scheduled. I handed over my phone and they verified that I was supposed to have an appointment. Then they told me they gave the appointment to someone else and that I would have to sit and wait to be worked in. I started calling every salon in town and told them what happened, I was immediately offered to be worked in at three of them. But that isn't the only issue, when ***** was employed there and she messed up my hair by not listening. ***, the one who became my stylist, spent hours, and multiple appointments trying to fix it. I spent over a thousand dollars undoing what was done by the same place that said I was less than by giving away my appointment in front of me.Business response

**** unfortunately my staff would like an apology from you for all of the years of no-showing and/or canceling last minute but that's not going to happen either! You have been inconsiderate of my staff countless times, and the one time they could not work around your time schedule you threw a fit and reported us to the BBB. We have informed you many times about our 48 hour cancellation policy. Listed below is just a few times you cancelled NOT in the 48 or 24 hour window or no showed my staff.

That's 18 plus hours of waisted time at our hourly rate of $100 per hour totally $1,800 plus.
We have been trying to peacefully break up you for years so this was break up was only a matter of time.

I am rejecting this response because: if a business wanted to break up with someone they would. They would just say, hey we can't see you because and they fill in the blank. Saying they were trying to break up while continuing to make appointments is ironic since you can't break up and maintain a relationship. I have apologized both in writing, on the phone, and in person for every missed appointment. I gave them notice in advance, it may not have been the 48 hours required, but I never no-showed. I am sorry for my role in this matter, as stated in the complaint, but their response says I didn't apologize. I am sorry, they are not.I stay quiet while *********** trashes them and their attitude, but this response says those ladies are right. This place doesn't respect people and deserves no respect.
I have apologized in every way imaginable, but they have yet to do so.
