      The facility is great and modern but most of the staff are rude and the place smells dirty like mildew. I had paid up front for the year and expected to pay month to month after that year. I went to the gym and scanned my card like usual and the young blonde kid says "You're done bro" . I asked what that meant and if a manager could look into my account to get this resolved. He told me it does't matter and I will have to sign up again and pay all the initial fees again. I told the kid if I'm paying signup fees again it will be with a different gym. I was a member several years ago and paid up front for the year then was paying month to month and they wouldn't let me out of my contract even though I was several month out of it. I had to cancel my debit card they were charging payments from. This is why this time I paid cash up front so that wouldn't happen again. Either way I have been a member here several times and it's always an issue.

      **be advised* Before signing up with this gym be sure to read the terms and conditions. We've been trying to cancel our membership for months. Due to there policies it extremely difficult cancel your membership with out jumping through a bunch of hoops. It's currently 2023 and you telling me, your customer, who's on a membership can't cancel it during business hours 5:30am-9pm? Then after multiple attempts to cancel the membership we get a letter in the mail saying we owe $237.00 or get sent to collections. Instead they use an asinine archaic system that you need to come in person between 9-8. Additional if you try canceling over the phone you get rude staff that are repetitive. Third option you have mail in a signed letter that you want to cancel your membership. Now I'm sure if you're an active service member this isnt a problem due to your orders getting you out. But, that being said for everyone else including myself a retired veteran they make it impossible to cancel without coming in during my personal work hours of 7am-5pm. Well you say what about 5-8pm well that time is blocked off for taking care of family chores I. dinner, childcare, and etc. Well I guess I'lI sit here for another in the lobby for another 45 minutes missing work.

      It was a fine gym. However I came down on deployment orders and they would not waive their 30 day cancellation policy. I'm not completely sure that this is legal through consumer protection for military or if TN has any clauses that adds consumer protection to SCRA. However if this can not be solved I will be going to JAG to find out my rights and if it is not with in my rights to have the 30 day policy waived I will be contacting a Congressman as this is a military town and this is completely unacceptable. This company should be blacklisted if they will not accept deployment orders to waive a 30 day policy.

      These threats are unacceptable. We very much appreciate our military and provide discounts, free memberships, free classes, special events, etc to our military families. However, we are fair with all our customers. We require a 30 day notice with all our cancellations. This is common practice in the industry. Upon joining, we went above and beyond to inform you by signing and initialing next to the clauses discussing our 30 day cancellation policy. Your membership has been on a month-to-month basis for 9 months and you could have submitted your notice anytime. In most circumstances, military receive orders in advance. Your deployment orders were written on September 14th and you submitted your notice on October 28th. Perhaps you could have submitted your notice in September to avoid being charged in November.

      Contacting JAG to find out my rights through SCRA is not a threat. Nor is contacting a congressman to call for changes in TN's policies with the SCRA if it does not already provide consumer protection to service members (as other states I know have added additional protection). I have came on orders multiple times and ************* nor ************** gave me issues over their company policies with military orders in Clarksville. I can honestly say through multiple and various subscriptions and contracts this is the first time I have ever had an issue which is why I initially questioned the legality of it. I did not have my orders in hand on September and brought them the day I received them but thank you for the advice, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
