We took our non-operational motorcycle to Mid-South Motoplex (MSM) and asked them to repair our motorcycle. Expecting them to use reasonable care and skill when completing any repairs, servicing or investigations on our motorcycle. On 1/7/23 they said it was fixed and running and charged ** $1897.66.The engine seized up after less than 10 miles from MSM.We took it to a new repair shop and after opening the engine and finding no oil (we have video proof) they determined this company neglected to put oil back in the engine during their repairs. We have been in contact with MSM from 1/7- 1/23 on an almost daily basis, both in person and through telephone. The General Manager ********************* provided an additional estimate for $8788.24 to repair the seized engine and offered a partial refund of $361.06 on their prior work that resulted in engine failure. We disputed the charge with Citi credit card. MSM sent a reply statement along with the original work order denying the refund. In MSM response letter, they stated multiple times they test rode the motorcycle 15miles. MSM completed the approved repairs, as requested, then test rode the motorcycle for 15 miles to check the work and verify the motorcycle was operating correctly. Their conclusion they reiterated MSM did complete these repairs as evidence by MSMs 15-mile test ride. However, you can see on page 1 of their repair order middle of the page the ODO/Hrs In:20,409 Out:20,415. This shows when we brought the motorcycle to their shop we had 20,409miles on it, when they completed the work it was 20,415miles. That is a 6mile difference not 15 as they claim. Had they done the proper service and test rode the bike for 15miles, the engine would have failed on them instead of ** on our way home from the shop. The service we received was very different than what we paid for. I have not been contacted by mid *********** complex in regards to my complaint with the BBB. I am not satisfied at all with their lack of quality of work or poor customer service.
