I am rejecting this response because:for the third time I had same issue with engine: check engine light comes on, engine start sputtering and not firing all four cylinders. First time I was at same dealership because that happened while driving to *********, vehicle is in warranty. They told me that they fixed problem after about one week holding vehicle. Couple of weeks later I was on the way back to ***** IL and same thing happened again, I turn vehicle at closest dealership **************** where after another's week they told me that car is fixed. Now, four months later again on the way to ****** KY same thing happened for the third time so based on previous experience and fact that vehicle is in warranty I contacted Wyatt Johnson Kia and customer service *** told me to stop at gas station, buy premium gasoline and add fuel injector cleaner and drive to dealership. I did all and on 05/22 I left vehicle there. After four weeks they told me that problem could be muggy gasoline- I ***lied that is probably fuel injector cleaner but they insisted that I have to pay $1234 for cleaning system. I didn't have any other choice but approved that, then I was told that car is not in warranty, I sent them original paperwork but few days later was called to pay and pick up vehicle because it's fixed. Another lie, after I paid and went to vehicle ( they didn't drive it out as usually, it was parked in front) first thing I noticed was "check engine " light on and after starting vehicle it sounded same as I left, sputtering, so I walked back and asked for manager. ***** (the manager) came with me to vehicle and agreed with me that car was not fixed and that he personally will do that ***air. Few days later he called me and started asking strange questions like am I original owner, etc. I sent him sales paperwork and after whole six weeks and few days and $1234 paid for vehicle ***air (vehicle in warranty by manufacturer) I finally got my car back without any explanation what has been done, just some suggestions.
Sincerely,

So in April of 2020 my wife and I bought a brand new 2020 **********, and we had such a good experience that I decided to return to them to purchase my next car. We'll that has turned into a huge mistake. I got a used 2021 Kia ** from the Kia ********** less than 3 weeks ago. They had it brought in from another Wyatt Johnson ********** here in town. Everything was going smooth until 10 days in of having the vehicle the duct tape holding the plastic up under my car gave out, and I ended up dragging the plastic from exit 19 all the way to *********, and then back up to the ********** after I left work. I told them once I took it back up there that I no longer wanted the car and I didn't trust it. I had worked it out with my lender if they gave me a refund, I would have gladly bought any other car on their lot. Both the used car manager and the ** treated me horribly. They both gave me a condescending tone when talking with me, asking "But was it mechanical". They agreed to fix the ** and put me in a loaner car. The loaner car was a 2021 ****** Sentra, I felt safer dragging the plastic all across *********. I had to report issues with the ****** making popping sounds via email. Still to this day the issues were not acknowledged, until I talked with the new car sales manager. I got the ** back today, made it half way home and the ** wouldn't work. If i would have had one of my medically fragile kids with me, they would have had to gone to the hospital from the heat. I turned back around and took it back to ***, half way back it finally kicked on. I was told that since it came back on there was nothing they could do. It's a shame that what I had hoped would be a great buying experience has left me feeling so frustrated.Business response

This is about a recall on my 2012 Kia Sportage, There have been recalled on this vehicle due to engine problems and it stopped while driving down the road at 55 mph. I called them and made an appt for them to take care of the recall but on my way there to the appt date the car started to mess up again and stopped on me completely and then I tried to start it up again and the engine started to make these weird sounds and then it blew and smoke came from under the hood. The vehicle was shot. The Kia dealership called me the next day and told me the vehicle had a hole in the engine and that it would cost me to replace the engine for 12,000 I don't think I should have to pay seeing Kia has open recalls on these vehicles now that has to do with the engines.Business response
