AVOID any property managed by this company!!! Relocated CROSS-COUNTRY to be greeted by the most NON-PERSONAL, low energy, zero customer service human. Thought it was just me- but both my children felt the same FAUL energy from this woman. Should have followed my gut and passed on this location. Upon my arrival was asked WHY my energy level was so high?!?! Drove 30+ hours cross country with dog... was I excited to make it alive? **** YEAH Then was asked about proof of service for electric BEFORE I can be given keys. (Totally understandable) Couldn't find email so I googled phone number. Why did I ******? Because rather than providing service and list of service providers, she decided to go into her office and NEVER come out again. Felt as if I had some sort of desease or contagious virus that she AVOIDED! Was not walked around facility to be shown amenities IM PAYING FOR! Still don't know where my mailbox is located, nor gym. Also adding that the move in inspection must be completed electronically. As a tech challenged person this was the icing on the cake.... Not sure I'll stay the entire 12months if this is indication of service I'll receive.Keystone Realty and Management

After review of the account it was found that the prospect resident was provided with an approval letter that provided information pertaining to the utility company that provided services for the desired location. Unfortunately, how others perceive others is not something we can control. The onsite coordinator for that location provides information and tours of the property to all residents and prospective residents. If this was missed upon arrival we do apologize. As for the move in checklist we found that this is easier for most residents but not all, a paper copy could have been provided if requested or statement from resident that the app provided would prove to be difficult to navigate. We do strive for excellence and hope that we can work together in the future to make your residence a home.Review fromSandra E

This company is terrible about getting back to you, but they insist on taking $75 for an application before you can see any properties. I finally gave in because I desperately needed a home to move to after my fiance passed away and I wasn't on the deed to our house. They knew all of these facts. I received a call from Danielle that my application was approved, so I requested a viewing of a property. She said she would have an agent call me to set it up. That was two weeks ago yesterday, still no phone call. These companies should not be allowed to require a paid application before we can see if the property will even work for our needs. They totally took advantage of me and then dropped me like a hot potato. With good credit. Do not use Keystone Realty and Management because all they want is your money. This was the Hopkinsville, KY office I was working with. It is fraudulent and something needs to be done about this situation! Thanks for nothing! I'm sure I'm not the only person to experience this treatment. Luckily, I found an individual property owner that runs her own business and rented a beautiful and very clean house in a booming economy.Keystone Realty and Management

Company policy does not require a prospective tenant to submit an application prior to viewing a property. *** **** ******** had contacted our office prior to applying and informed a staff member that she was currently unemployed but did have good credit. *** ******** was then informed that in order to move forward without proof of income she would be required to pay for the lease term (12 months) up front. The staff member also informed *** ******** that she would send her contact information to a licensed showing agent, in which the staff member did promptly. At which point the staff member believed that the showing agent would contact *** ******** to set up a showing for the property.Review fromLeanda G

1 starPlease steer clear of this property management company. I wish I read the reviews prior to dealing with them. They are shady and money hungry. They’re refusing to give me back my security deposit of $1595 for a voided lease with a move in date of 5/15. It is 5/9. I’ve never had the keys. Never moved in. Never even saw the property in person. If you value your hard earned money and want quality service do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Also please check out their **** reviews. There’s a reason why they’re rated a 3 out of 5. They should be rated a 1 in my opinion.Review fromChristina L.

The abuse and the cruelty I received is shocking and I’m still shocked/appalled at the treatment that I received. I was a good tenant, never received any complaints and was never late on rent. I was told that the place was inspected and once I asked for the inspection report they ignored my request and never gave it to me. They put my children at risk of getting injured or possibly killed by using an outdated light fixture box for a ceiling fan. The weight of the ceiling fan couldn’t handle the light fixture box. I had a licensed electrician look at the pictures and he said the box was against code and old. It was likely the same box used when the building was built. The ceiling fan was falling out of the ceiling. They failed to come fix it right away and I had to call again after nobody came out after two weeks. I have a picture of the ceiling fan box and it was cracked and it was plastic, nothing was holding it up in the ceiling. Instead of Keystone admitting their fault, they attempted to blame my children saying they were hanging on it. Now they wanted me to pay for the ceiling fan, if I didn’t they would evict me. So now they were blackmailing me and trying to scare me. I refused and they sent me an email with an attachment of an eviction notice with the ceiling fan cost on there and they were saying it was "late rent". I reminded them that they had no grounds to evict me according to the lease. Heather apologized and said it was sent by accident. They withdrew the eviction and “did me a favor” of withdrawing the ceiling fan fee. Except they didn’t get “around to it” because of the fee being there on my account a second eviction notice was sent to me. When I left, I made sure the duplex was cleaned and everything looked good because that’s the kind of woman I am. Now they are charging me a $75 cleaning fee. Multiple times they refused to do the right thing and this continues to show the character of this business. (I have lots of pictures of everything)Keystone Realty and Management

*** ******** did not immediately submit maintenance request to our office in order for Keystone to address any maintenance issue(s). A vendor was sent by Keystone staff but afterwards *** ******** was then directly contacting the vendor, which is not protocol. Tenants are to contact the office to submit maintenance orders to ensure a work order is created, it is assigned to the correct vendor, and to ensure payment is made in a timely manner to the vendor.
*** ******** was not charged for the ceiling fans upon move out. Upon move in it was notated that the living room ceiling fan did wobble slightly, no other notation was made for the living room or bedroom ceiling fans. Everything was in proper working order upon move in. Electrical boxes are plastic, that is common.
A cleaning fee was applied due to a cleaning vendor being required to do a light clean of the unit due to dirty floors and other minor cleaning issues. This is the minimum charge for a cleaning vendor to go to a unit.

I was notified for a response from Keystone that I didn't submit it in a timely fashion. LOL. I noticed the ceiling fan coming out of the ceiling on 07.13.22. I called that evening but it was already closed. I called again the recorded call on 07.14.22 and spoke with Teresa she said she would send someone out. Nobody came out. Called again on 07.29.22 and spoke with Danielle and nobody came out until 08.01.22. I actually did do it in a timely fashion, you are not being honest because you know you did me dirty. I have emails and documentation to prove it. I also have proof that Keystone did try to charge me for the ceiling fan I took a snip of the charges from the website. Then the email attachment with the fee on it and was used as "late rent" for a reason to evict. I work in the medical field we are taught to track everything. Pictures and who I talked to. I also used to work for a cleaning company and I cleaned the apartment. Took videos and plenty of pictures of what it looked like before I left because Keystone plays dirty. The cleaning charge was ridiculous. Probably best to start being honest here. The truth always comes to light.Christina L.

Side note. So your discrediting what a licensed electrician said? Plastic boxes have on the box a warning not to be used for a ceiling fan. The boxes also have to mount to something, not just dry wall or the ceiling. I have pictures of it not mounting to anything. I have proof of everything. When calls were made and pictures. I called on 08.01.22 and Kristina admitted to me on recording that I was correct that I called two times and it was not taken care of immediately and she apologized for the treatment I was receiving. You are liars, bullies and awful human beings. You are the reason why this world is so awful. Clearly a heart thing. God bless you.Review fromGabrielle C.

I was applying for a property that I have gotten approved for, but someone else has paid and been approved for to move in. They are harassing me to pay them $110 for something I'm not in nor do I have any options that fits me.Keystone Realty and Management

Company policy states the following, "Please note…any unit can have a pending application on it at any time. The first applicant to complete the paperwork and pay all fees/deposits, will be the one who is able to secure the property." This is notated on our website, as well as the notice that all application fees are nonrefundable.Gabrielle C.

No; they're making me pay an application fee when someone else has already applied, paid and go forth with the process. Why take my money is what I'm trying to understand.Review fromMakel N

I woke up one morning with a summons to come into court for an eviction that I NEVER knew that was filed. 03/15/2023. I tried to contact Keystone to see if they sent out an eviction notice via mail, email , etc because I could not find it anywhere. When I called no one could find it in the system. They told me the form would be in my portal. Could not find it. I had to get in touch with the court house to get a copy of the eviction notice 2 days prior to my eviction. I tried to called keystone and let them know I didn’t receive the eviction and then I’m willing to set up a payment plan. They told me at this point they can’t help me and it’s out of their control. I’ve been a tenant here for two years and have never had an issue or missed a payment before. they added an extra $600 in court fees before I even had to go to court on top of the late rent payment and expecting me to pay for it in two business days. this company will fail to send out eviction letters and demand extra money. once they find out you are getting evicted they are rude and very unprofessional. I would not recommend.Keystone Realty and Management

Our records show that *** ********* was sent via **** on February 10, 2023 an eviction notice when February Rent was not paid. Second eviction notice was served by the ********* County Sheriff's Department and this was taped to his resident door when February and March's rent was unpaid. March 20, 2023 a representative from Keystone Realty and Management attended the court proceedings for this file. *** ********* informed the court that he did in fact receive the eviction notices, after an eviction was granted *** ********* inquired about paying the full amount including evictions fees if he could continue to reside at the property. The homeowner approved this and Keystone Realty and Management informed *** ********* of this decision. The balance is to be paid in full by March 27, 2023.Review fromjasmine m

They emailed me and told me they couldn't process my application because they didn't get my $45 application fee due to the online systems being down. They told me to go get a money order and once I dropped it off they could review my application. I dropped off the money order, got in my car, and not even 2 minutes later I get a email saying I was denied. I didn't even get a chance to pull out the parking lot and I got the email. Before I dropped the application fee off, I was told they could not review my application, run my background or anything, so how could they do all that in a matter of 2 minutes? I called back and they claimed they already had the information so they just needed the money to confirm that I was denied and wasn't qualified! If they already knew I was getting denied and I wasn't qualified why would they have me go through all the trouble of getting a money order and bringing it into the office.Keystone Realty and Management

On 9/08/2022 she spoke with Lexi regarding her application. Lexi explained to her our online pay was down therefore she would need to bring a money order or cashiers check to our office for us to process it. ******* had completed everything except for the payment. The payment must be made for us to process the application. The application fee pays for the screening.
******* came into the office on 9/9/2022 & brought a money order in the amount of $45.00 for the application fee.
I entered the payment & we let ******* know that we will be processing it ASAP. Once a payment Is made, we can process the application immediately & get results back under 30 seconds. Lexi went ahead & pushed her application through. Once it was pushed through, it came back denied due to credit. Therefore, we sent her an adverse actions letter.
She was not informed that we already knew she was going to be denied. We do not process the screening until payment is made. Therefore, we got the results once the fee was paid.
