This company did a vehicle engine check on my car and charged me for it while my insurance inspector was present. They failed to let me know that my transmission was damaged. Now my insurance carrier has closed my case. They fixed my suspension and changed fuel pump sensor. I brought the vehicle back two days later to inform them that the check engine light came back on the next day. The manager says he doesnt do transmission. They could have told me the truth about the transmission so my insurance inspector could notate the damage that was caused by the accidentInitial Complaint

6 months ago I went to Midas to have my air fixed in my vehicle, they fixed it but it's broke again a week later, they were great and fixed it right away. Two months ago my husband vehicles air stopped working so I took it in, they always stated the service fee to see what wrong with it goes towards the price of fixing it, not a extra charge. They found out what was wrong, I told them to fix it, instead they tried to charge me on top of the service fee and refused to give my vehicle back! We're rude and harassing me! I had my children and finally they said if I paid the fee they'd give me my car back! Which they did nothing and we were there from When they opened until almost 4pm! Now my vehicles air stopped working three weeks ago and they are refusing to fix it! When it should of been under warranty! I want my money back or vehicles fixed! They blocked me on ****** so I cannot leave a review and I'm not the first in the area for this to happen to, after asking around.Initial Complaint

On 04/09/2022, my car was taken to the Midas at 411 Riverside Drive due to overheating and leaking coolant; after the alleged diagnostic, the service cost was $****. The intake personnel ******** had encouraged applying for their financial loan, which I did, based on the information received from the mechanic because he is a professional in that area. At **** pm, I picked my car up; before leaving the premises, I opened the hood of my car and noticed that there was no fluid in the coolant reservoir. The mechanic then stated that his partner must have forgotten to add it in, which I thought strange as they are professionals. By the time I arrived home, approximately 2.2 miles from the merchant, my car was running hot and still leaking coolant. I contacted Midas immediately, and they told me that they were walking out the door and that I would have to return on Monday at **** am. In a panic, I called out a mobile mechanic the same day to just come to look at my car as I had just signed a loan that could ultimately cost $******* if not paid in the required time frame. The mobile mechanic looked under the car and stated that it was either a hose or water pump. He also stated, " Not sure how they could replace the radiator and not know the water pump is gone." I immediately contacted **** Finance to rescind the loan, as my car was not fixed, and I felt that I was a victim of predatory lending due to the company encouraging the loan. On 04/11/2022, I arrived at Midas at the requested time**** am, and I was met again by ******* and Mr. ****. I explained to him what the mobile mechanic stated, and then he said, " Yeah, it's the water pump, and the additional charge was $******. I went to the bank and got the money. I did request that they return my original radiator and water pump so that I could take it to have it tested, per the requirement of **** Finance to rescind, as I believed that they misdiagnosed the problem and they continue to acknowledge any errors
