Alright so I have finally after about 44 long grueling months and over 14 grand(which is utterly ridiculous and is legal theft!) paid off my crappy 14 year old car but when I just went to check my account page, instead of saying I paid in full (which I did!) it said I still had a .01 balance... ONE CENT! Are y'all kidding me?! So I went to pay that stupid little one cent balance and a ridiculous 3.95 fee to do it online so they better update it to paid in full and get out of my life forever. These scam artists will also blow up yours and all your references' phones day or night if you are even a day late on a payment! I cant see how they are even still in business and I can't wait to be done with them. They prey on vulnerable people who need a car but dont have the credit or a high down payment to go to most places(which I do now, thankfully!) Ugh.Sunrise Acceptance, Inc. Response

We apologize for this. If the customer had emailed or called us and let us know about the $.0.01 balance left in the computer, we would have gladly written that balance off. Just to let the customer know, I do see that the title for the vehicle was put in the mail on 7-18-24, so she should be receiving it soon. I also asked one of our account managers to call the customer this afternoon and offer her a gift card as a way of saying that we apologize for this inconvenience, and we thank her for her business. I purchased a 2011 Nissan Titan. They came and repo it Sun 10th. Last year was a bad year for me health wise. I got caught up and a few days later after I had paid it up on the phone with KC C******* someone else called me and said I owed more. I was like I paid it with KC C******* that wasn't told to me. I told her to tell KC C******* to send me a print out of ALL my payments because something isn't. I couldn't even go on my account to see where I owed more. They had me blocked out. I have pay $20,000 so far on a 2011 truck. I have asked if I could pay monthly payments isn't of weekly I was told NO because of the interest. They are NOT being truthful about ppl credit so they can charge them more than double what the vehicle is worth. I was also NOT informed of the repossession the truck was stolen out the yard. When we catch the guy I asked for paperwork on the truck he showed me a pic of a red truck instead of mine. I've tried to contact KC C******* asking for print out of ALL my payments again they will NOT give me any information about my payment history. I think they are scamming customers they need to be investigated there are to many complaints for them NOT to be investigated. Like I stated I've paid at least $20,000 on this vehicle for them NOT to show me where my money is going and NOT allowing me to get the vehicle back. ThanksSunrise Acceptance, Inc. Response

Customer service is very important to us. We have worked with this customer for the last couple of years when they were having difficulty making their payments. We always work with customers who will communicate with us and follow a plan to make regular payments. Prior to receiving this review, we sent the payment history to the customer and explained options to get the vehicle back. After discussing options with the customer, they have decided to move in a different direction. We wish this customer the best wishes in their future endeavors.Review from Tiffany B

We loved them until we had some money trouble. The vehicle was repoed 2 hours before we was catching up on the past due amount. When we called to pay it she said nothing , but lies. She said an agent spoke to my husband and he was combative. He was at work all day and I was gone. I told her to look at the footage and when she called his work to ask if he worked that day. Anything to prove innocence she didn’t want to hear. I’ve gave his new number a million times over the past 2 years and they never changed it on his account. She also lied about emails being sent. Customer service is important to us. Repossessing a vehicle is always a last resort for us. We work with customers daily who are having financial issues. Only when the customer doesn't communicate with us or doesn’t follow through with a plan to get caught up on their payments will we have to repossess the vehicle. We worked with this customer as long as we could. We wish the best for them in the future.Review from Angela G

I had went to East Auto under the impression that I was going to a buy here pay here. Then I was told that they use a finance company to finance vehicles. This is not a finance company this is a scam. They call threatening you the day after your payment is due. I work nights and they call during the day and I had texted them letting them know I can’t talk. I had made a partial payment in good faith keep in mind I’m not even 30 days behind and they texted me in was refunded they had already put it in repossession. They are rude and very unprofessional. I had qualified with other dealerships with regular financing but they had the vehicle I had been looking for with a great down payment and now I’m living in a nightmare and it’s only been two months!!! I thought i was getring a vehicle i could depend on but had fis the hole in the gastank and was billed for the repairs that they should have paid. Now i need to replace the tirods . We are sorry to hear that you had mechanical issues. We inspect all our vehicles thoroughly and never intend to sell a vehicle with a known mechanical issues. I am over a year and a half into a Jeep that had to have the motor replaced and since the replacement, is losing water somewhere... the Jeep leaks everytime it rains... making noise when it's driven like a u-joint or something. It is a piece of crap. The mechanic did not put the correct amount of water in the engine after replacement, didn't put all of the screws and bolts back in it. My husband and I are both disabled and unable to do anything with it. Its a waste of time. Also, with me making every single payment since purchase...I still somehow owe over 20k on this thing and the balance hasn't really changed in 3 months. I am one very unhappy customer and am contemplating just returning the *** Jeep. KMSunrise Acceptance, Inc. Response

My name is ******* ****** I purchased my second car with them after a flawless payment history with first car , I married and I added my wife to buy a SUV shortly after purchase she got on drugs and we separated after several attempts I finally got SUV from wife, I paid it up several times where she fallen behind , finally I asked if I could turn SUV in still in perfect condition if they would in writing agree to not pursue any balance on SUV and we signed a paper I have a copy my ex wife has one and you guys should have one . all I'm asking is to forgive my alleged debt with the paper I signed , take off the charge off and repo from all credit beaureas and I will be satisfied , if not I plan to seek legal action thanks in advance for your cooperation.Sunrise Acceptance, Inc. I am currently financing through Sunrise, I have been going through a lot of stuff financially and they are coming to get my car. I have 50% of my loan off. I have 2010 my loan total about 14,000 and now have a little over 6000 remaining. When Covid hit I went through a lot still going through a lot catching Covid with no pay and o got behind again. My payment is due every other Friday and I’ll pay on Monday they are harassing me as if I haven’t been trying to get my payments caught up. Demanded my refund that I haven’t even received yet. I have been struggling and I just need more time to get it together and it’s not like I’m not paying at all. It’s just been rough and they call all day and this last time she told me that I had to make two payment for the month of April or they were coming to get it. Then says we agreed to you paying on this date and I advised that im on the verge of eviction and sent my paper work on that and said there was nothing she can do. I can see if I go months with out payment but I haven’t, never with a month without sending a payment. I pay almost 500 a month for a car that I was advised that I would be able to refinance after 6 months but the car was told old to refinance. I got my car back in July, was getting paid on Tuesday's, got a new job back in Sept. started getting paid on Friday's. I had advised Tracey of this and sent her all my information, and she didn't make the change to my account. I would get harassing calls everyday until Friday (my actual pay days) and threaten my car would get reposed (for my payment being 2 days late even tho Tracey didn't do her job and update my account) after speaking with her "manager" Melissa, I forwarded all my information over to her two weeks ago (still hasn't made the change to my account btw) only for someone named "Sheila" to reach out to me and say my offer letter, pay schedule, and paystub wasn't enough and needed additional information and also tell me I am late on my payment. EVEN THOUGH I NO LONGER GET PAID ON TUESDAYS AND GET PAID ON FRIDAYS AND HAVE SENT ALL OF THEM THIS INFORMATION. I have never in my life had to struggle so much with making a change to my account. Please do not get a loan through these sharks, I have accumulated so much interest because they don't care to do their part.Sunrise Acceptance, Inc. Response

Thanks for the opportunity to respond. We do apologize if it was harder than it should have been for a pay date change. There are a few things we have to have in place to get this through our system, and again we are sorry if we did not communicate well on this. We did contact this customer recently and were able to get the pay date changed and the customer emailed us back that she was appreciative that it has been taken care of. We also want to assure the customer that she didn't pay any extra interest. We don't charge late fees, so the interest is based only on the balance outstanding, and we have processed all the payments when we receive them.Review from August

No Stars. Because I had a payment that was supposedly not made back in April 2021 and Im just now getting a notice about it dated November 8th, 2021, which of course this is the only thing that is current on my credit which is by the way also impacting it. I am highly disappointed in the unprofessionalism of this company, and to top it off the letter had also stated that they had been trying to contact me on several occasions for a number that I never gave them. Then when i called on 11/17/2021 the lady then had the audacity to tell me that i should have called when i had gotten a new number when from the time i actually bought the car until now the number that i have had for 4 years was the same cell phone number that i had provided to them so her assuming that i everything pertaining to this whole situation has really insulted my intelligence.Sunrise Acceptance, Inc.
