I have an HVAC system that is 2 years old, it began to leak water. I called American Air, it had an A BBB rating. On 7/17 they sent out a technician who sprayed Dawn soap on the coil. I was charged 146.00 for the "repair." I asked if this did not work, would I be charged twice. I was told no. It did not work. I called again; they sent out the same technician ON 7/20 who asked me if I had PAM spray. He sprayed the coil with it, he then told me that this machine was not designed for mobile homes and that the system was "upside down!" I had him put this in writing so that I could use this when I called the company that installed it. I called ********* *****. The technician from American Air did not know what he was talking about. This company installs these systems all over Tennessee! They came and told me the coil needed to be replaced and did so today, thus far, no leaks. I was told I have a 60-day warrantee. I emailed American Air asking for a refund. The woman said someone would call. I told her everything must be done through email. I wanted everything in writing. The owner of the company called, I told him to use email, he said he doesn't have email!!! They have ignored my requests for writing our communications. They have left several messages on my phone. They sent someone who did not know what he was doing, TWICE! Charged me and NEVER FIXED MY UNIT! All I want is what is due me a total refund. I have invoices from both companies to attest to the truth of what I am saying. I am a disabled senior citizen and should not have to pay for inept service! I uploaded 3 scans, not sure if they went through. Please let me email them if they did not go through!
