On 4/8/23 we hired Fast Track moving out of Cleveland TN to unload some pods for us in our house. They were suppose to be there at 1 and didn’t show up until 4:30. ****** ******** the owner was there and the ended up putting my washer and dryer on a dolly without securing it. The dryer fell off and ruined the bottom with huge dents. I asked him what we could do about it and he said send pictures and text him at the first of the week. He would send someone out to repair or replace it. I did. After multiple texts I could never get in touch so my wife tried. He then stated that he would meet us on a Friday. I waited and he ended up calling around 11 on that Friday and said he wouldn’t be able to make it. I told him, just give us our move fee back which was $290 and we’d call it settled. He agreed. After about a month and a half I have yet to see any refund or hear from him. We work hard for the things we have and the dryer was a little over a year old. I know things happen but I just want things to be made right. I have pictures and text from the incident. All I’m asking for is my 290 dollars back.

On October 1 Fast Track movers arrived 20 minutes late. All of our furniture and belongings were already boxed up and ready to move, we requested that they break down the beds. They didn’t bring any tools to, and we had to go to neighbors to borrow tools for that to happen. The movers did not wrap any of our furniture etc.. they just began loading it. At the new location upon unloading one of my chairs was damaged (will upload photos) and I ask the mover and he stated he didn’t know and that he would check the truck. Once he went outside I saw him bend down and pick up something..he came back in and stated that the missing piece was not on the truck! I stated that the chairs(set if 4) were not damaged before hand and that I had placed plastic on them because I didn’t want them dirty prior to! After they were done unloading they left and we discovered several other pieces damaged. My husband and and I were leaving to go to the old place to retrieve some more items and saw a piece of the chair that was as broken off. I text the owner (*****) had a phone conversation with him and explained to him what happened, he agreed to come and pick up the chair and have his wood guy repair it. After repeated attempts and unanswered calls and text messages he finally came to pick up my chair to repair it 3 weeks later and promising that it would be ready the next day which didn’t happen. I continued to text and ask for updates and he would respond 3/4 days later and say it’s ready set up a date and when I would he would not respond back for days later. The chair was finally returned 3 1/2 weeks later and the repair job was horrible(pictures will be uploaded) the shackle or whatever product he used was still wet and soft. The chair is RUINED! And his response was it wasn’t real would, I had no proof his guy done it and by law he had 90 days to repair it! Other items that were damaged was a fire place and china cabinet

The customer asked us to repair her broken chair. We were not completely sure if it were us who damaged the chair, but we still agreed to offering the repair. Keep in mind, we are not required to offer repairs for any damages. Occurred during moving helper jobs. We honored our repair and upon returning the chair the customer was not happy with the repairs. We offered to attempt a repair again that the customer would be happy with but we were denied the opportunity.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

his statement is not true.. I have audio recordings and not once did he offer to fix it.. what he said was that it wasn’t real wood. And as a side note whatever he used to “repair” the chair still has not dried completely!

      Sincerely,
      **** *****

These guys started off over an hour late. Then they showed up in a rent uhaul, which is built low to the ground. I told them I didn’t think it would be wise to drive it down our property to our storage building and it was dry at that time. Talked to Korrey, the owner and he told me that they wouldn’t, and he would send another guy to help unload. Long story, short— it started to rain and they had another quarter load, they drove it down the hill to the storage and got stuck. These guys took the doors off our carport , four wooden doors, put them under the tires of the uhaul to try to get it out. Korrey promised to replace the doors , to “trust him with a mutual trust” so we paid him for the move. One month later and the run around, ignored calls, voicemails and messages, broken promises, and excuses— still no doors! We needed those doors to securely store our things. I would never recommend this company and am seriously considering filing a petition in small claims court. Terrible customer service and destruction of property, with no remorse or compensation. I never write bad reviews but this warranted one and more!

We expressed to the ***** family that it may take some time to get the doors repaired, since the job was completed until now we have been in communication with the customer and her son, which got confusing at times since after speaking with the son, the mother would text me and ask about the e plan after we just discussed it with the son. We just asked for a little time, we are not a big company and resources are limited. We can only move as fast as our budget will allow. We currently have the doors ready for delivery, we just need the customers to let us come to the property. So far they have not mentioned if they will allow us to follow through with the doors. We would love to resolve this issue and try and retain a good relationship with the customer.

On July 17th, the business promised to render three hours of moving service with two helpers, beginning at 10am. The business was 4 hours late the agreed appointment time and only provided 30 minutes of 3 hours of paid for service. I asked for a refund, was promised a refund, then after not hearing anything for two weeks I reached out to inquire about the refund and was told to seek help elsewhere. $270 was stolen from me.

First off, our company Fast Track Moving & Storage IS NOT featured on Uhaul Moving Helper as a business! Our company name is used under an individuals' legal name and a civilian name, it is not associated with Fast Track Moving & Storage, so ANY AND ALL complaints deriving from labor serviced through Uhaul Moving Helper platform should not and does not apply to Fast Track Moving & Storage as a company.

Second, the customer Carlisle Russell ordered 3 hours of service from Uhaul Moving Helper with the knowledge that the job was not hourly, it was a FLAT RATE JOB! Because the crew was late arriving and the job did not take 3 hours to complete, the customer felt they were entitled a refund of time. Even though the customer was not LEGALLY entitled any refunded time, the service provider Shaneika Williams listed as "Fast Track Moving" decided to offer a refund of unused time to settle the complaint and agreed upon dropping the complaint with the BBB as well as changing any negative reviews they may have left for the company Fast Track Moving & Storage. Please help

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and although some statements made were inaccurate (I absolutely have an order from a business called "Fast Track Moving" and not a person, and have attached that reference above through my UHaul account) I'm satisfied enough with the partial refund I received to accept their response.

      Sincerely,
