After shopping around and finding Gas Incorporated much higher per gallon than other suppliers I decided to change. Went to the local office to ask about cost of cancellation and was told $175 tank pick up fee but would reimburse me for gas in the tank for the price I paid. I asked if there were any other fees and was told “NONE”. I called a couple weeks later to get the tank with 185 gallons picked up. A couple weeks later I find out they also charged me a $9 fuel recovery fee and a $0.50 per gallon restocking fee, in other words $92.50. So an additional $100+ in fees that I could have avoided by using the gas prior to tank pickup if I was not lied to. I called to complain to the manager (Shane) in Dalton, GA and was told he would return my call but it took me 2 weeks to get him on the phone. He told me there was nothing he could do because my account was now closed. But if he had returned my call 2 weeks earlier the account would have still been open. Not only are they very expensive, I feel like they are either incompetent or unethical by not fully disclosing all fees and avoiding customers with complaints. They were a good propane supplier until they were bought by Gas Incorporated. Stay clear of this company.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I could not get resolution through the local office or the regional manager so I sent a billing complaint to the corporate office. I firmly believe if I had not done that then this would not have gotten resolved. I did eventually receive a refund check for $101.50. Therefore, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
