November of 2022 I received a ***** dollar check from my ******************* to pay ******************* at Midsouth atv to replace a motor in my 2022 polaris sportsman because of being flipped while deer hunting and the motor took in water from over turning into a creek. **** and I agreed for me to drive to ********** of ******* to pick up the long block crate motor that he ordered and I paid for with my insurance claim money. I then took him the fourwheeler and motor on November 16 when he started taking the whole machine apart. He removed all the parts that had to be used on the new motor as in intake throttle system, fuel system, countless other things that he stated to me. He also stated they had to figure out a tool/part issue they personally had to do the job correct. I waited patiently to get my machine back. When he told me to come pick it up and the repair was complete there was a few clips missing on the plastics and the exhaust springs were hanging. The snorkels were not tight so I had to fix this on my own. Keep in mind they had my whole atv torn apart. I have pictures. Well I did as he told me and let it run at idle in the garage for many hours to break the motor in as they say. I also rode it around the yard with my 3 year old. After about 15 hours of break in time I took it on a ride in the beginning of may 2023 and the motor starting ************* so I turned the machine off. Checked everything I knew too. It later started smoking and the throttle cable failed. I got home called him and he told me to check it out myself and add oil to it since it was smoking a little and too keep riding it. Well it has since started smoking uncontrollably and burning oil is the cause. The reason behind this is because of Midsouth Atv not doing there job correctly and not properly cleaning the parts that went back onto the new motor. I have pictures of the air box of the atv full of dirt from them never cleaning it. He stated on the phone twice he wasnt responsible for that
