March 30, 2022.Grant Homes built our home and we closed in December 2021 the week of Christmas, and they didn't finish putting our cabnits in until July and they aren't finished yet because they put a hole in the one upstairs. It took them 4 months to come hookup the dish washer and the painting in the closet isn't done, because they didn't think that we would check. In March rain can into our office because the flashing wasn't right and it damaged our desk we just bought. Grant Homes came out and asked for a invoice, which we provided and stated that they would pay because the flashing wasn't complete and the fault was on them. But David Grant and a guy named ***** stated that they wasn't gonna pay the $758.98. They said " we gonna give you $400.00", and "That's It". David Grant stated " we ain't responsible for nothing in your house" and hung up the phone.Business response

Keith and David Grant Homes LLC signed a sales contract with ********* and ***************** on 4/25/2021. The Browns closed on the home on 12/22/21. Per the agreed upon Sales Contract, Grant is providing a one year limited warranty to the Browns and we are fulfilling that agreement. Currently we show no open work orders for warranty items for their new home. If they have any warranty request that is covered by the agreed upon new home limited warranty, we ask that they submit the request through the "Warranty" tab on our website and we will take care of them.

I am rejecting this response because:
They didn't put the flashing up correctly and the rain came in the house and damaged the office desk. It's obvious David don't listen or maybe I'm beneath him, we know how to put in orders but we are talking about when the rain came in the house that they came right out to fx but iys still not complete because there is blue tape over the window.

As we stated in the initial response to the complaint, we do not have any open warranty request with the Browns. Our records show that all items have been corrected. If they have any warranty request that are covered by the 1 year limited builder warranty, we ask that they please submit the request via the "Warranty" button on our website and we will be more than happy to address them.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: we are not complaining about a open request. This complain is about them allowing water to enter our home, damage our desk and state that they wasn't gonna pay after they asked for a invoice. How do you think that Grant came to fix the problem without a complaint. The tape where they are to finish is still on my house. I've filed several warranty issues but was told to wait until almost a year to get " ************* For Your Buck". These people DONT listen at all.BBB please listen to what I'm saying: David Grant finally responded to my request only after I stated I was gonna contact The BBB. And while talking to him, he kept mentioning to file a warranty. I told him this is about the water coming into my home and a water damaged desk. They asked for a invoice, we provided that and they STILL won't pay for it.after they said ghis is our fault. Trust me it's still not finished, blue tape is still on the window. They are horrible company, they take money and don't fix nothing. My neighbor is going through the same thing. The neighbor across the street is going through the same thing. My friend around the corner is going through the same thing. Thus company shouldn't be able to build a Dog House. I need Ya'll Help. Nightmare On Willowdale...Awful....
