*********** is upset that her homeowners insurance policy has increased from $1689 in 2021 to $2578 in 2024. She had a $17,000 claim in 2023 but in addition to that we all know that Homeowners Insurance and Auto Insurance rates have increased dramatically in every state and with every company in the country over the last 3 years. She is apparently under the mistaken assumption that a local insurance agent has control over a customer's ********************** rates/premiums. I received an email from her last night outlining all of these topics and her disdain and that she was contacted Allstate's home office to turn me in, as well as the BBB, her attorney and next will be social media. Good grief. - I replied to her email this morning to explain the details on rate increases and how that works and that it's not just her or this agency or the state of TN but everybody who has insurance in the country and that each company controls this situation along with the insurance commissioners of each state. - While i was responding to her, i received the BBB email. As part of my response to her at the end, I let her know that i received the BBB email and that I may pursue libel damages against her if this goes further and she doesn't remove her BBB complaint against me and this agency and particularly if she proceeds further!Any questions or concerns, please reach out to me.
