Got a quote on 6/15/23 from *** (self-proclaimed owner) for $169/hr & $75 service fee (included fuel) after we discussed in great detail what I needed moved where. Before ending call, I scheduled for 6/22/23. Deposit of service fee ($75) was required at time if booking & done. On 6/20/23, I reached out asking to reschedule for 6/30. No availability that date, after checking dates (he didnt know availability on 6/20, I reached back out on 6/21) 7/5 @ ****ish. In his confirmation text he said, I have you booked 7-7 $175 per hr plus a $100 service charge plus tax We will call or text in route with start time approximately eta is ***** am depending on traffic thanks ***. My response was, Wait. I was told $169/hr & $75 service charge, which I paid already as the deposit.. He replied, We lost information so no problem. I then sent him, The date is 7/5. Not 7/7. Hopefully your fingers just hit wrong button. Lol. I called you back & left a VM. Thanks. I then sent a screenshot of the deposit receipt from mu bank. Followed by Thanks for calling back! Just to confirm: July 5th, **** (or there about), youll call when otw. $169/hr, $75 fuel/service fee (paid as deposit on 6/15). Thank you SO much! See you soon!, to which his response was, Yes got it 7-5 830 ish. We also spoke on the phone prior to my last confirmation text. 7/5-3 men showed up. @ approx ****. They finished loading at 2pm (much was already outside) after they stood around wasting time, asking for drinks & food (they ate a bag of popcorn b/c that was all I had to get them moving again & drank juice from fridge. I also gave them a gallon of water at their request). They broke bed, *** said he would have professionally repaired. They caused damage to MANY ************ (I have ********* *** have a missing pressure washer. charged almost $1700 for damaged ************* held hostage until paid. 5hr job turned into 10hr (finished around 6pm). Full refund + damages. No response to contact attempts.
