Hello, my name is ***** and my husband ******** have been with this insurance company for almost a year now. And they have treated us horribly. Horrible as customers and as a family in general when it comes to our health. I recently complained on here about them. The company is called Farm Bureau Health Plans here in *********, **. They are so called to be there for people families in need this is the #1 insurance company here is *********, **. But, you know they havent taken good care of my family at all. None of my claims or my wife claims have been taken care of; just our one year old daughter. We pay them $750 a month and we are giving them that for free. We are literally being robbed right out of our hands and this company says we owe them. What type of company is this? Sounds like a scam to me, because me and my husband are being robbed. I having coming out of the hospital after giving birth had to go back in the hospital after having a major C-Section and having extreme high blood pressure and having to be on magnesium for a few days, we racked up on medical bills because of her rough pregnancy. And since then she has been back to the hospital because of genetic passed down things. And know we owe $46,000 in unpaid claims. But, you know what, me and my husband havent missed a payment on paying Farm Bureau, because we dont want our credit messed up. But, it is messed up because our claims are not being covered by the insurance company. My husband has recently went to the dentist and now I owe them $500, because they didnt even cover anything. Me and my husband are scared to even go to the doctor or even go get our teeth clean because our insurance company is not processing none of our claims and we dont wont to be in debt. But, we have to take care of our health. But, we cant even feel like we can do that because this company Farm Bureau is stealing that from us. I have called multiple times and they just Ignore me!Business response

Due to restrictions regarding the use and disclosure of protected health information under HIPAA regulations, FBHP is unable to discuss information that *** disclose an individual's protected health information. FBHP members have appeal rights with regard to adverse benefit determinations including two levels of appeal and, for medical necessity or coverage rescission determinations, an Independent Medical Review process. Once a member's appeal rights are exhausted, FBHP also voluntarily complies with the ********** of ********* complaint process. We called farm bureau health plans and told them that we was canceling our health coverage insurance with them. Said that they couldn't stop the payment from coming out. Told us to call our bank put in a stop payment for it. The lady told us that we had to tell them the exact amount it was for. We was told $368 to tell the bank for the stop payment. Checked bank account 1/2/24 and it came out for $386. So the amount we told the bank was incorrect due to them. And know they said they can't refund the money due to the incorrect amount they told us when we called themBusiness response

We was told to tell our bank $368 when they charged more beginning of the year which was $386. We told the bank $368 for the stop payment. And since it was a different amount they took it out of out accountBusiness response
