This occurred on Jan 04, 2023, at 01:35PM. I financed $4038.79 and paid ****** as a down payment. The invoice number is ****. I walked in looking to buy a puppy. I saw on the website a German Shepherd (Sonic: ****) was coming soon. He arrived that morning. I played with the little guy for about 40 mins and decided Id like to adopt him. We sit down discussing details and they place the pup in his holding area and he looses his mind. Im thinking hes just mad he cant play and we carry on. Im told if I have to bring the dog back I have to pay 50% of the dogs value to them for restocking and adopting him out again. ***** but Im not think hes gonna have to come back so I agree sign and take him home. I take him home and IMMEDIATELY find out he doesnt like kennels or ANY enclosures that keep him from freely moving. I placed him in my hot tub so I could get his kennel out the car. He cried until I got back 2 mins later. Took him out the tub let him walk around smell the place and played with him. Night time comes time for bed I place him in the kennel and he looses it again. Not shutting up for over an hour. I stayed up for over 24 hrs. Take him back the next day seeing hes gonna be to much for me and a young man named ***** (managers younger brother) tells me the day I got the pup he came in from OH which is a 9 hrs car ride to *******. He was taken from mom and littermates early in the morning. Put in a kennel and driven to *******. Was in the shop for 2 hrs before I arrived. Then I took him home. He has extreme separation anxiety after all those changes and he was barely 8 weeks old. Knowing all this in hindsight I feel I was set up to fail and it cost me $**** to cancel that contract which isnt fair. Even the humane society doesnt act like that. The store manager wouldnt take him back until i said I called an attorney to find out my rights. Once I got paid I go up there pay **** (more than 50%). They sell him again thats $6,000 for one pup.
