  I called Dickson Tree Surgeon to come out and requested a quote for trimming of trees. The owner came out and viewed my property and stated they would trim 4 trees for ***** which he wrote out on the back of a business card. A couple of days later the owner came back out with his tree cutting crew and said the one and only tree close to the end of my driveway needed trimming an well and added on ***** for the one tree to be trimmed. The owner ambushed me as I was leaving my house to go to work the day he asked me to trim the one tree out by the end of my driveway. I asked about the tree limbs being removed from my property the owner said the city of Dickson would pick them up and they would put them in the ditch. I explained to him after a week went by and the tree limbs were not picked up about them again. He said they were behind. I then called the city myself about the tree limbs and they would send someone out same day, but still they sat in the driveway. The owner did not clean up the tree branches until after a male family member called the owner and spoke to the owner about the amount he charged and for the job to not be completed. The tree limbs were picked up this past holiday weekend. The owner/operator also had me make the check out directly to him and not the company. I am unsure if the owner/operator has the licenses and insurances because he never showed me them, but it was printed on the business cards that the owner did give to me. The owner never provided me with any receipt for the work completed or a receipt for the check I provided to him. Included below are the business cards. The bank has not processed the payment of the check as of todays date 5/28/2024. I wrote out the check to the owner on 5/11/2024 after he came by to collect it.

    5 trees were done and the total was ********. Price was given and amount was accepted. 2 large maple trees in the front yard was trimmed and shaped and deadwood removed. Large oak tree over driveway shaped, removed lower limbs and removed dead wood. Large oak tree approximately 125 years old, protruding over fence, trimmed, shaped and dead wooded. Had to be roped out and sectioned down. Another large oak tree in left back yard, with limbs protruding over roof, limbs had to be roped out and sectioned down also some large deadwood removed. Approximately 210 cubic yards -7 24foot dump loads of brush and debris removed and disposed of.

    I talked to her as she was leaving in her car and asked her if the trees we had trimmed looked ok. She said everything looked ok. We put the tree limbs in the lower part of the yard near the ditch to cut down on equipment driven into her yard and so they could be removed from the road. Due to heavy rains, we were unable to remove it as quickly as I had planned.

    I operate under ************************* Dickson Tree Surgeon. She asked which one to make it out to, ************************* or Dickson Tree Surgeon, and I told her it didn't matter. She didn't ask for proof of insurance or license. I told her I could send her proof but she said it wasn't necessary. Her check is a receipt but an additional receipt could have been provided upon request. The check was not deposited in my account until the work was completed. The check was deposited into my account on *******.

I told her I could send  her proof but she said it wasn't necessary. Her check is a receipt but I could have provided an additional receipt if she wanted it. Her check was not deposited into my account until I completed the job. The check was deposited into my account on *******.
