  I took my vehicle to get fixed in February of ****************************************************************************************************************** since it would take so long for him to fix it. Finally in January I went and got the parts he did have, which were only 2 out of the ***** the insurance said they'd pay for and when he went to write me a check he wrote it for $3,757. The original quote was around $10,200 so I tried questioning where the rest of the money was. He tried saying that $2334.34 was supposed to go to ******** and social security. I returned the check that day. My question is if he did not do the work on the truck why is he making me pay those taxes? Sounds to me like he just lies to keep some money from everyone. When I tried getting my insurance to help they said they sent a two party check I would've had to sign before it was deposited and I never signed a thing there. I have started collecting data from different people showing I am not the only one he has done this too. This is a questionable business and consumers need to be weary.

  This customer wanted us to ********************** his vehicle but wanted to purchase his own parts from the internet and have us install them. We informed that the parts would not be warrantied and we had already placed purchase orders for the parts per insurance guidelines. We also explained that we must order parts from vendors the insurance company requests.  Many parts were on back order which we have no control over. The insurance company had sent 2 party check to our facility which we explained meant it was placed against our company as earned income. Customer decided after several months that he would not get his vehicle repaired and wanted the money the insurance paid. We explained we would do so but we would have to take the state sales tax and federal tax being as we pay Sales Use tax monthly as well as the money was already sent to the *** as earned income for our shop and had been paid last quarter. We reimbursed ourselves those taxes and gave him the remainder of the check. ***************** was notified

  I am rejecting this response because: theyre a bunch of liars. At no time did I ask for parts from the internet, plus they still havent explained why the two parts that were on back order beat the 30 parts that were not. Or how they supposedly couldnt do anything about the taxes but they somehow had it reimbursed to themselves
