On Wednesday September 15, 2021, Mr. ****************** installed recess lights throughout my house. He did a wonderful job. He told me he was finished and walked me through the bedrooms. I was very pleased. While I was writing his check; Mr. ****************** loaded all his tools into his van. He came back in to get his check and I met him at the front door foyer. Suddenly, Mr. ****************** grabbed his forehead and said, oh, No! When I asked him what was wrong, he told me to look up. As we both looked up, Mr. ******************, said, I forgot to do the foyer light. He asked me could he come back on Friday September 17, 2021 to finish that ONE ****s foyer light and I told him that would be fine because hed already loaded his equipment back into his van, and it was late. Mr. ******************, said, the foyer light would not take long because the outlet was already there and he wouldnt have to climb into the attic. I paid him and havent seen him since. I called him constantly, left voicemails and after about 3 weeks of me calling him to come finish ONE LIGHT, he blocked my number! My brother started calling him and he blocked my brother!! The contractor who referred Mr. ****************** to me, called him for me and his calls went unanswered. I want the job finished as agreed. ****************** has been paid. I want this ****s Gold light fixture in my foyer replaced with a recess light as we agreed. I dont understand how someone so well mannered, such a clean worker, who did such a wonderful job RUIN an otherwise perfect experience by not keeping his WORD and returning to change ONE FOYER LIGHT! AND, behaving so unprofessional as to ignore my calls and messages by BLOCKING our phone numbers, how childish is that!! Come and change this Foyer light that YOU overlooked!Business response

I hired Kimbell electric,LLC to put a ring camera in for me he said he knew how but after many times coming back and never getting it to work right , paying for the camera I do not mind but all the labor for coming back I think I maybe get some backBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/18) */ On 3\9\2021 I installed a ********** Cam wired $249.99, Video Doorbell wireless $249.00, Video Doorbell wired $249.00, ***** Pro $49.99, the reason why its two Video Doorbell installed because the first one was wireless and he wanted a hardwired one, so he wouldn't have to charge it, I had to run an additional wire for the wired ring doorbell after customer changed his mind and the customer was not charged for the change, in the process of installing everything, out of kindness because my service was to just install the hardware, I installed the **** App on his phone and computer and set up his account online and on the phone with a **** assistant to make sure all cameras had recorded video, and the customer was standing right there with me. The customer said at that time I'm not really good with the computers or Apps. So customer called me a few weeks later and said I can't get the App to work on my phone , so out of kindness , I made a service call to show him again how to get on the App and access **** videos, a few weeks later the same thing happen again and I stop by and showed him and told him he needs to get faster internet because of the usage from camera and other stuff on the his WiFi was slowing down his connection. This happen a few more times and he was never charged a service charge fee of $85. The last time he called me saying that ******* had come to his house and changed his modem for faster WIFI and he couldn't connect to the **** App. I was out of town at the time he called and he said you better get over here now, I told him when I get back in town that I would , a few days later he left me a voicemail threatening me. This was the mid August, 5 months after the initial instillation and due to the customer not being computer savvy and not knowing how to reconnect to the **** App on his own phone or computer. I still have all documentation of pay, trips to customers house, and that the customers **** hardware was working correctly. **** has account information and videos that shows everything was working correctly after initial installation. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/09/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) that is not true I paid cash most of the time and I never threaten him he just lied about coming to the house, I had ******* put the best wifi in they had and he didn't know how to fix it he keep saying it is not doing the job, I know you will go with him on what he says he is a member of the bbb, I am just a little person put I know I paid about 700.00 to him thanks anyway Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/09/30) */ The **** equipment was installed 3/9/2021 **** ********** cam wired $249.99 **** Video Doorbell Wireless/Wired $249.99 **** ***** Pro $49.99 Total $549.99 not including Tax I have been installing the **** Video System for 5 years now, I have installed it for countless of customers and never have had one problem, I even have the **** Video System at my own residence and know how to operate the App and Equipment very well, it is very easy to install the **** Video Doorbell, A 12 year old child can do it, its Four mounting screws and download App onto your cell Phone or Compute and connect to your Home WiFi and than the **** App will walk you through setting up your account to view your recorded videos and you paid for the installation and equipment with a check, I do not accept cash from customers for bookkeeping and tax purposes, only Credit Card or check and Finally Why would you pay for a job that was never working???? The Reason Why, Because it was working, this job was done 7 months ago and all of a sudden its not working, I have been using the **** video system at my residence for 5 years now and no problems, The **** system is a App basic systems , the App controls everything, it lets you view your recordings and make changes to your devices from the settings, all of this is done through the **** App, for you to be a man of your age and to lie about equipment not working and paying me in cash. We can verify everything was working properly by contacting **** SUPPORT and I have all the receipts for the equipment which total 549.99 not including taxes and a copy of the check your wrote ($650.00), not cash, this is ridiculous.
