A call was placed on September 25th to A affordable moving and storage to utilize their moving services. A deposit of $360 was required to reserve the date and the truck, it was explained that the deposit would be given back after the move. The deposit was agreed upon and a transaction to my account withdrew $360. The move was on October 7th and was charged $865 for the service. It was one truck and three movers. A tip of $100 was given to the company for their service. Two weeks later the $360 deposit had not been deposited back to my account. Three calls were made to ************ a man named ******* has been the only contact. Asking ******* about the deposit money he said there was an error in entering the information and they were not trying to keep my money. Every time I called he had excuses. My wife called once and gave her the same excuses said he was going to call her back the next day but never did. The deposit was a separate transaction from the bill for the moving service. I am looking for this company to give me the $360 deposit back. It has been a month now that the money has not been returned and am wondering if I should get a lawyer involved. Moving in the same city should never had costed me $1325 for not the greatest service.Initial Complaint

I paid affordable movers $300 on may 14th to help move a few items, during the process of the move, they put a hole in my wall, and broke the stair rail down. I have reached out toe ****** and I haven't got a response back. I'm not happy they costed me my deposit, I'm a single parent trying to make it , I don't have money to throw away like this. I deserve my money back especially for them being unprofessional. I did not have a hole in my wall nor was the rail broken.Customer response
