      On 11/28/22 my husband and I purchased a boat lift and 20’ aluminum walkboards from Rocktown Boat Lifts for $10,205. We paid a deposit of $1000 shortly afterwards. The boat lift was delivered and installed (without the aluminum walkboards) in our slip at Fall Creek Marina on 1/18/22. Although the aluminum walkboards were not delivered at that time, we still paid the remaining balance of $9,205 in full with the expectation we would have the walkboards soon. Since then we have made multiple attempts to determine when we would have the aluminum walkboards installed as we were promised. We have tried on multiple occasions to complete resolve this situation. A few examples include: 2/21/23 - We texted if the walkway come in. NO RESPONSE FROM ROCKTOWN BOAT LIFTS. 4/3/23 - We texted if the walkway had been installed. NO RESPONSE FROM ROCKTOWN BOAT LIFTS. 4/9/23 - We texted we were at the marina and the walkway had not been installed and asked when it would be installed. NO RESPONSE FROM ROCKTOWN BOAT LIFTS. 4/14/23 - We texted if you were able to get us “squared away”. THIS TIME WE RECEIVED A RESPONSE ABOUT A PROBLEM WITH BRACKETS 4/14/23 - We texted about getting a date on when the work will be complete. NO RESPONSE FROM ROCKTOWN BOAT LIFTS. 5/4/23 - We called and left voice mail about returning the money we paid for the walkboards. NO RESPONSE FROM ROCKTOWN BOAT LIFTS. We no longer have faith Rocktown Boat Lifts will install our walkboards. We are coming up on 4 months since we’ve paid in full with no results. Our invoice from Rocktown Boat Lifts itemized the lift and aluminum walkboards. The walkboards were priced at $1,425, so we are seeking the return of that money. Rocktown Boat Lifts will not return our calls and has not sent the requested refund as of this report.

      I scheduled work to be performed on our dock on 14 Nov 21 at 10 am. *********** finally showed up at 12 pm. Some of the work he described to my wife was unnecessary and completely within my ability to perform. Subsequently, I asked him to focus on work I could not perform by myself. After he struggled with this work for approximately and hour (at $120 per hour), he stated he had left the requisite hardware (nuts, bolts) in his truck - located across the lake. He stated he would have to retrieve the hardware from his truck. Before he left, I asked him to remove a pole located adjacent to our dock. After (2) hours he finally admitted he couldn't do it with his boat and would have to return at a later date with a bigger boat. He presented his bill for (3) hours for $360, promising to return within five days with the hardware, and a bigger boat. Since that time I've called and texted *********** six times, finally speaking with him last Wednesday (1 Dec 21). He stated he would install the hardware later that same day, and NOT charge us any additional money to remove the pole next to our dock. When I checked my dock yesterday (4 Dec 21), the hardware STILL has not been replaced. When I attempted to contact *********** on 4 Dec 21, the call went to voice mail. He still hasn't called me back to resolve this issue.
