The business, JS Hillside Trams, installed a hillside tram on my property in Cherokee, AL in Feb. 2021. We paid over ******* for the tram. We have had numerous safety issues with the cabling as it had started to fray and break. The cabling had to be replaced and immediately after started jumping the track or coming out of the channel once again. I had to work on it myself and make adjustments to the cable in order to resolve the safety issue. Now we have an issue that the remote control (Up, Down and Stop) buttons are not working. We have changed the batteries in the remote units but they only last about 5 or 6 days before they go dead again. Obviously there is some kind of short that is draining the batteries. This causes a serious safety issue as you can not stop in case of an emergency. We also have to lean outside the tram car to press the up and down buttons on the stationary platform controls, again causing a potentially dangerous situation. I have tried to contact the owner, *** ******** numerous times (at least 12 times) but he never answers the phone. When I leave a message, I get absolutely no response. This has gone on for over three months now. The electronics package on the tram has a 3 year warranty. We would like to have the owner make good on his warranty and stand behind his work and product.
