On 09/06/2023 my wife and I went to Chantz Scott Kia to trade in our vehicle for a Kia Telluride. We found a 2023 Kia Telluride with only 6000 miles. After signing all paperwork and leaving the dealership we noticed several chips in the passenger side windshield that were barely visible unless in the sunlight. We returned directly to the dealership. At this time we informed our salesperson who said he was unaware of the issue. We then asked to speak to a manager. At this time Sales Manager ***** ******* came out. *** ******* advised that the windshield had previously been fixed and they knew about the issue as the chips happened while the owner of the dealership was driving the vehicle. When asked why this information was not disclosed to us prior to purchase *** ******* stated it was common practice among dealerships to not disclose information like that and it was no big deal because it had been fixed. Had my wife and I known prior to signing paperwork of the windshield damage, we would not have purchased the vehicle. When my wife stated that, and that we would like the windshield replaced *** ******* then stated that we could pay the $1000 to have the windshield replaced.Customer response

On 9-24-21 I traded my kia soul to Kia of Kingsport for a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta and I forgot to stop the automatic payment and a payment was made on the Kia soul of $389.97 and I requested the money back since it was taken out of my account on October 5 the payoff was sent to them on October 6 in the amount of $13,199.96 but the dealership only gave me $10,600 for my Kia Soul and they assured $13,700 when appraised by the salesperson but the finance company Kia Finance is telling me that the payoff was short they sent $12,809.99 and not the full amount and obtain the title and sold the vehicle now this has been sent to collections and is almost 50 days late and affecting my credit and should have been payoff upon selling the vehicle I need this issue resolved ASAP!!! They are reliable for paying our car loan off but did not when I traded with them
