Dr. W*** with Tri Cities Orthodontics provided incorrect braces for my mouth, treated me very poorly then ripped me off. I had to pay another orthodontist ***** *o remove the braces that Dr. ***** office put on. During one of the braces adjustment appointments, one of his staff pulled on my mouth very hard. I asked her to be gentle, she said she was sorry, but then did it even harder the next time. I asked her to stop, asked for Dr. ***** His bedside manner switched to "nice old man" to "cold stoned bully". I then got up out of the chair and asked to cancel my account. I spoke with office manager Shawna. She said I owed no more money, as I had already paid in advance. I asked for a refund, she said she could not do that. We both agreed to end everything and that I would not owe money. I signed her paperwork and left. Almost a year later, they have sent me to collections on a bogus bill. I dug around online, only to learn that Dr. **** **** ******* *********** *** ** ***** **** *** **** *********** ** **** **** ************ * ********** ******y in Johnson City Tn, another orthodontist practice in Kingsport and one here in Bristol Va. His orthodontic practice has lots of "good" reviews, but if you sort by low reviews, you can read the similar stories of how they ripped people off and even damaged their teeth. I would never allow someone I cared about to ever be in the care of *** **** ** *** ***ff. A very distressing experience. One I wish I would of at least filed a police report for. I am now filing a complaint with The Attorney General, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Virginia Department of Health Professions.
