      I purchased a new car form Fairway Ford on 6-10-22 along with a extended warranty for an extra ******** Just a few days later I spoke with my sales lady/:Libby & told her we decided against the extended warrantee & requested a refund . They had said we had 60 days to cancel & get a full refund, She said I didn't need to do anything on it , but she would have them send it to us. I checked with her several times & then was told that she had gotten the info to ***** * he would take care of it. Still did not receive my check. I went into the office & she then spoke with ***** * he had her have me sign a form to cancel (this was with a week left till my 60 days was up) Still no refund received, so I got out my paperwork & found a phone# in fine print & called on the last day & the Extended Warrantee co told me to do it by e-mail that night & I would still get me full refund. I did all as they requested that day. I called ***** at Fairway several times more & finally received on 8-30-22 a check for ******* instead of the full amount of ******** I called ***** * he said to not cash the check & he would have them reissue the full amount. Still checked back with him several times & he said they should be working on it & he would check further. Now he will not reply back I still am holding the partial check to exchange it for the correct amount & getting no reply. Just to mention: At least the chip in the paint was finally resolved by getting us ap paint pen to fix it, but this even took 6 months after getting the car

      November 14, 2022 my daughter left her Ford F-150 with Fairway to have a headlight/taillight to be looked at on November 15. November 15 the truck was not touched or moved in any way for repairs and was still in the same location my daughter had dropped it off. Early morning hours of November 15/November 16 between 1-2 am two thieves jumped the fence surrounding Fairway Ford dealership, jacked my daughter's truck up and stole all 4 of her tires and rims and left the truck on blocks. The service department opened at 7:30 the next morning, she was not called until 9:45 at her place of employment and told about the theft. She, my husband, and myself have spoken to the Service Manager, the General Manager and the owner of Fairway Ford and we have all been told they are not responsible for the theft. I spoke with the owner myself and when I asked didn't Fairway have insurance for things like this and I was told yes, but it was for cars that were damaged in the shop that she couldn't control thieves, if they wanted something they were going to find a way to take it. I told her the premises was not safe for customer vehicles and she said it was parked in the safest place it could be under a light and 2 cameras and I said well evidently not if this happened. When asked about the insurance she also said that's what WE as customers have insurance for when something like this happens. I called the Service Manager, ****** ******** that Friday to say we were going to have the truck moved/towed to Hayworth tire to have tires put back on it and I was asked if I was going to be responsible for the wheels on it since they had pulled wheels off inventory to move the truck into the garage. He also told me that he would hate for his guys to miss a sale over that weekend because they were missing a wheel that was on my daughter's truck. I said you must be joking and he said why? I said I just find that funny that you are worried about something like that. Please look into this business!

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/21) */ Baily ******** dropped her vehicle off on our lot after hours and signed an after hour service form acknowledging that we are not responsible for loss in case of theft. We have helped Ms. ******** by allowing her to look at the video showing the theft. Ms. ******** truck was parked side by side to another truck with like wheels and tires of the same value. Ms. ******** was the only vehicle the thieves took anything off. We have helped by not charging any fees and helping Ms. ******** get her tires and wheels back on by even allowing another facility to use our garage to do the work in. Please find attached a copy of the after hours form.
