***** Goddard of Goddard Building Group LLC was contracted to make home repairs after two trees fell on my home. The original quote appeared to be fair. Repairs started fast. A complete roof was needed to include roof rafters, roof decking, shingles, gutters. Due to water intrusion most of the sheet rock had to be removed to make access to all the insulation. Every room on the main floor had to be gutted. They made some positive suggestions that have improved my home. Repairs were started April 19, 2022, with a completion date for the middle of May. My home was demo very fast. Once repairs were under way things started to come up that wasn't being done correctly. Building Permits were not pulled, the complete roof system has not been built back to code requirements. The painter got paint on the new and existing hardwood floors. The painter did not prime anything. Decals that were on the steps were not removed, painted over, shipping staples on the cabinets were not removed just painted over. The cabinets are not what was pictured, and subpar materials was used. Trim was put on backwards, plywood was installed around the windows, basement door has only two screws holding it in, brick molding was removed, deck boards were not all installed, deck hand rail are different heights on each side, inside stair baluster was left incomplete. Electric riser, weather head was to be replaced and was not. Bathroom closet door has only one s**** on each side of the hinge, no shelves, or door k*** He ask for another payment and I paid him. After I handed him a check I Immediately said I have already paid this. He said his wife did the accounting and she did not post the payment. After he was overpaid he only showed up to walk off the punch list. A date was given for them to come back to finish the project and no one showed up or returned a call for two weeks. He sent a message saying he would not honor the punch list only make cosmetic repairs.
