Contracted this company to install counter tops on my new kitchen cabinets agreed on a price paid half down they came out and measured on December 1st and install date was December 20th on the 19th at 649 pm they texted me saying that the installers would be there at around 2 pm and that it was going to cost me 897.00 more then what we agreed upon because one top was bigger I never asked it to be bigger and they should have called me to let me know way before they were going to install them they never called until the night off install now I had no choice had to let them do it or lose my initial down payment of 1200.00 dollars when they installed they damaged on cabinetBusiness response

This customer came in on 4-11, picked stone & put down a deposit towards the estimate. We went out to measure on 11-30 about 1:45 & the wife ad fallen asleep. We returned again on 12-1 to measure. We did not add a trip charge of $300, we were understanding of their situation. We emailed them an updated invoice on 12-16 for the updated balance after final measure. Just a few minimum measures had changed after final cabinet install. There was a typo in the estimate for the island when the square footage was calculated. A decimal was entered where it shouldn't have been. Customer never called us back, emailed back, or text back with any complaints. This is the 1st we have ever heard about any issues. Cabinet damage was never brought to our attention. Cabinet company also doesn't recall a phone call either about damage. Customer gave the installers a check at completion & never said anything to them. We are happy to do what we need to resolve this.
