In April of 2023 I received a doctor bill on my account. Account # 360-QUNDG. The bill was for ******** I mailed a check *** **** on 4/24/2023. In July I received a final notice bill for the same amount. I called University Diagnostics on 7/10/2023 they said that no payment has been received. I said no problem I'll mail another check then call my bank to verify it had not been cashed. I mailed the new payment on 7/10/2023 Check ***** *** *******. On 7/11/2023 my bank said the first check got cashed on 7/06/2023. It was going to cost me to stop payment on the check I had just sent so I called University Diagnostics they said no problem they would issue me a refund after they get the payment I just sent. They cashed this check on 7/18/23. They never issued a refund. We called them and opened an investigation. Investigation number ******* Told us take 6-8 weeks this was in September 2023. In December 2023 we called and they said they would call us back. They never did. Called in January 2024 and number is to a doctor and now I'm out the extra $******. I would really like my refund since they were double paid

Everyone I was sent to collections for $78 and some change. I received a notice from collections and the info on collections date was passed *** when I received it in the mail. The first notice came in April from ODC and it wasn't until July that I received the correct bill in the mail. I was told by insurance and ODC to disregard the bills, another will be sent out. It took months for me to get the correct bill in the mail. I reached out to let them know in July telling them I would make payments and I continued to contact them until the bill was paid in full. I've never been in collections in my life time which says a lot. It means I pay my bills in full. Even making payments is paying your bill. They didn't reach out to let me know I was being sent to collections. People have emergencies, elderly people might forget. There was no reason or merit sending my name to a collection company for the amount which I was told was $75 and then $3 and some change. That was how the representative told me over the phone also stating they didn't understand what was going on. I said $78 and some change that I knew. I received the correct bill in July and it was paid in full in September. Please read Google review and Yelp. There are others speaking about the billing and overall treatment. I can speak about both. I stood waiting to be acknowledge by the dark hair working behind the counter, she acted as if I wasn't standing there. That is also stated in Google and Yelp and now here. For humane treatment, go some place else and protect your credit.
