      Date of service- 9/3/21 Spent $73.92 in dry cleaning Spent $ 28.12 in Alterations Picked up dry cleaning 5 days later. Took everything home and put in my closet. Pulled out 1 silk blouse 2 weeks ago to wear before season change and blouse had 3 stains on it and several "picks". (Blouse did not go in with stains or picks). Took blouse back yesterday XX-XX-XX , I was told owner has started a 1/2 price charge on ALL items returned for re-do. Nothing said about damage to my blouse. I ask why would they re-charge me for a mistake they made. Employee repeated the owner started a 1/2 price charge on re-do. This was my first and last experience with this Dry cleaner. I only tried King Cleaners because they are closer then the regular dry cleaners I normally use. I have been having my clothes dry cleaned for over 40 years. In the rare occasion my normal cleaners did not clean properly or damage my clothes they always recleaned/ repaired or reimburse me on the article in question.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/17) */ I personally wasn't there when the garment came in. I would be happy to take a look at it. I apologize that the lady will need to come back in. That's the only way I can give her an accurate assessment of the garments in question. If I messed something up I'm happy to make it right. I have access to the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute also that I can send garments off to be evaluated. The garments came in on 8/13/21 and were picked up on 9/3/21. We do have posted in our location that we are not responsible for garments over 30 days old. However, I will be happy to take a look at the garments in question. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/11/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Why was I not offered the option to leave the garment for owner to view when I brought it back in after I discovered the stains and damage? The reason I only discovered the stains and damage when I did is I pulled from cleaning bag to wear 1 last time before season ended. All the other items I had cleaned there I have not inspected. I assumed as in all the other cleaners I've used that my clothing was cleaned correctly and I could put away till next season. I am not happy to have to return a second time to this cleaners for the same issue, yet I will return item to be inspected and a course of action to be taken on the damage. In the mean time I will pull the other items cleaned at the same time and inspect to insure no other problems with items I took in for end of season cleaning. I will NOT be able to return item until after Thanksgiving due to my busy schedule. But rest assure, I will return item in question for a reasonable conclusion to this problem. If me offering to check the garment and do what I can then I don't know anything else I can do. I was happy to take a look at the garment in question. She did want to know why she wasn't offered to leave the garment there initially. I can't answer that all I can do is apologize for that. I was under the impression from what I read that she would bring the garment back in at her convenience. There is nothing I can do otherwise. I definitely didn't understand she wasn't happy with me offering to make it right.
