First of all, I have a very large collection of Patricia Nash handbags and other small leather goods. I have never had anything go wrong with any item that I have purchased. I've found the quality to be so far beyond anything else on the market in this price point and the designs to be absolutely beautiful. I have been in contact with Patricia Nash Designs customer service on a number of occasions with regard to issues other than damage and have had exemplary help from them, Lani in particular. I have always been beyond satisfied with my purchases and with their customer service. With the amount of Patricia Nash leather goods that I own, I find it hard to believe any bad reviews left here. Please do not give credence to the poor reviews. Patricia Nash has been in business for almost 25 years and I own many bags made throughout that time frame. Very disappointed with this bag. After 4 months of use, the zipper broke. I contacted Macy's and they would not exchange it so I contacted Patricia Nash and they allowed me to send it in "to be fixed." After having my bag for 3 months, I followed up with them to find out that they "were not able to replace the zipper!" They offered me a credit to order a new bag from their website, which I did. They did not offer anything similar on their website so I now have a tiny saddle bag which is too small to hold my cell phone (in the outer pocket) because this is all the credit would allow. *I was NOT going to give them more $$$ and I did not want another bag from them with a zipper!* I am very disappointed... a $200 bag was a waste of money after just 4 months of use.Patricia Nash Designs Response

We are very sorry that we could not repair the zipper on your bag. We did have delays during this time due to the busy season and our repair team tried 4x to repair this zipper so that we could return it to you. Unfortunately, we could not repair it and take full responsibility for not letting you know sooner. Bought a purse, $229.00 metal handle broke, screw fell out, so unable to use by handle, only shoulder strap. Spoke with customer service, was told handle unrepairable. Than was told purse handle very fragile. I have used the purse less than 10 times. Purse not worth the money, and made several attempts phone calls, left messages and emails, then I called and finally talked with customer service. Hello, we are very sorry to hear about your experience and that we couldn't resolve it through our normal customer service channels. Our records show that we could not repair this bag because we do not have the parts. Sometimes defects do occur so even if a bag is out of warranty we will try to repair, but in this case we could not. We could not verify the location or date of purchase but our customer service rep did email the customer to offer a discount for her trouble but she did not respond.Customer Response

I reached out to Patricia Nash customer service department spoke with a supervisor who said I can return the purse and since it is unrepairable will be able to select something else in its place. Purse returned, now waiting for final outcome.Customer Response

I purchased a $299 backpack from Patricia Nash. The backpack lasted approximately 2 weeks. The magnetic snap broke and I was unable to secure the backpack with my belongings. This is my second purchase from Patricia Nash so at this point I will never buy another item from this business. We contacted Patricia Nash and they refuse to give me a full refund on my purchase. The reason is the following:
1. The first purse was purchased at a military exchange so I can only get a credit called WAR. The zipper failed less than 6 months after I bought it.
2. The second purse was purchased directly from Patricia Nash and was combined with the WAR credit. However Patricia Nash only recognizes the cash I paid for the second purchase.
Patricia Nash do no not stand by their products and I will never purchase another item from this business. Now my money is being controlled by Patricia Nash. Very substandard purses and backpacks. I want to sever all ties with this business. Please refund my money.Patricia Nash Designs Response

We are so sorry for this customer's experience but unfortunately they wanted cash when we never took it in the first place. They purchased a bag in 2020 from a Military Exchange. They returned it to us and since they didn't purchase it from us, we would only give them the credit for another bag in the same amount, which we did. The customer used this credit over several purchases, then later decided to return something due to a magnetic snap issue. We offered to fix or replace this bag, the customer did not want that. Instead the customer wanted cash back but since this was a credit issued as a result of a purchase made at another store, we are unable to issue cash. We really tried to explain this to the customer but they were very rude and threatening to our staff. We don't know what to do other than to replace or extend another credit, which we offered multiple times.Review from Sherri C

I was given a back pack purse for checking which was 7 mos. ago the leather is peeling off on the bottom keep i. Mind the purse is brand new I never used it and it was kept in the bag they give you to keep it in so it's protected plus the bag was stored in a cool place . I sent Patricia Nash an email with pictures at their request.
I called them today they said it was from wear note I have never used it as I explained to them so they go on to tell me it's not under warranty it's only 7 mos. Old never used . This tells me they do not stand by their product and from what I'm reading all there items are from china and I blame this on cheap leather .Patricia Nash Designs Response

Hello Sherri, I'm sorry for your trouble. I reached out to our customer service and they shared the pictures you sent. The pictures I reviewed don't show any leather damage. Instead they show where the leather was cut and their notes say when you originally got the bag it was fine. Therefore they ruled an accidental damage. Of course we want to resolve any issues if there is in fact a leather defect. Will you please send the bag in or send us more pictures of the leather damage? thank you.
