6/26/2023 FENCE INSTALL - After calling Bryant Fence company to remove an existing hog wire fence and installing a 4' chain link fence (on 6/26/23). The two gentlemen installers told me they could not put the post close to the retaining wall due to the concrete footer, and left a 6" or more gap between the wall and fence post where my small dogs could easily escape the yard! However. they had no issue cutting away the concrete sidewalk to install the post for the gate (didn't understand that install logic). They also left the fencing higher in some areas of the yard where the fencing did not meet the ground level. Again, the dogs could escape the holes under the fence! I spoke to the installers about this and they didn't offer any explanations but dug up dirt out of my flower bed to "cover the holes". In the process of doing so they dug up a termite stake leaving it on top of the freshly piled dirt within the fenced yard for my dogs to find and chew up!! Poison to kill small animals. Luckily I found it first. I was not happy! The installers also just poured dry concrete mix into the post holes without mixing the concrete mix up first. Is this standard practice? I have never seen this before. I question of the stability of my fence posts now. I immediately contacted Bryant Fence the next day and am still waiting to have my issues corrected. Around the second week of July Chris Davis, Production Manager, touched base with me and told me these issues were not acceptable and not how they do business. The installers should have put the post all the way up to the retaining wall. Also, the fencing should meet the contour of the ground with no gaps. They would be out to my house soon to repair. It is now 7/25/2023, I have called several times and still have not have anyone to come look at my fence, make any restitution or corrections. I have paid my contract in full, I have been more than patient and nice about it, but my fuse is burning out now!

I contracted with Bryant Fence to move and reinstall our existing aluminum fence around our backyard. The installation is extremely poor gates are not level, fence posts are not solid and do not have dirt around them properly, and there are gaps in the fence large enough for my dog to get through. I cannot get anyone on the phone when I call they only communicate via email and to date have refused to come back out and resolve my issues. I finally received a call today from their production manager who promptly said he would not come out and would put me back in touch with their general manager who would email me. This company provides for poor workmanship and will not back their work. I have explained that this is an easy fix and we simply want them to come back and correct the items that are wrong but they will not. At this point I have stopped payment of the check as they did not adequately perform the services in our contract.

We paid over 5000 dollars to Bryant Fence to install a fence. The quote has two checkboxes, "fence within 6 inches of property line" and "property pins found". I then was emailed a contract online in my email which is signed, but the majority of explanation occurred with the saleperson face to face, who assured me that the fence would be built inside my property and not to worry and they abide by all local regulations. 1 year later, my neighbor discovers the fence is almost 8 feet into his backyard. I email the company, who says I am 100% responsible for this error in the fence extending past my property line, despite their assurances initially that they would "have it taken care of". The quotes two check boxes seemed to not matter at all to the manager. I wish to report this as I feel this business has done this to other customers. They need to be penalized in some way so that this behavior does not continue. I am also requesting that they finish the job correctly as they promised in their initial quote (attached). A company should stand by their quoted service. They are using the fine print in their contract and not communicating face to face this policy. If they make an error in assessing property lines, they should hold at least some kind of responsibility in rectifying the error they have made.

< called and emailed our office on Thursday 12/30/21. He stated that his neighbor said that Bryant installed fence on his, the neighbor, property and asked that Bryant fence support him that Bryant did not. I responded to email and said that the fence placement is the responsibility of the purchaser and we would be happy to move the fence for him at his cost. then begin to blast us on all social media, BBB and left the same on a google review. Our contract plainly states that it is the purchasers responsibility for the fence placement. said he was very happy and even referred us to several people until we said that we would have to charge him to move this fence. I can attach his email and the contract for your review. Bryant fence did not do anything wrong in this matter. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/01/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) There is a stark contrast to what is documented on the quotes the company produces during the sale and the fine print in the contract. The verbal communication by the company at point of sale does not properly convey that the company has no responsibility for determining property lines and that a professional surveyor is required. In fact, face to face, they assured me everything would be taken care of properly in regards to local regulations. Should I not take your guys word for services rendered? I feel that this is a rather large mistake by your company and should be corrected at no cost to me. I already have the cost of paying a surveyor and dealing with an upset neighbor due to your workers not being careful enough. If I am working a shift at a pharmacy as the pharmacist and dispense another person's medication to a patient which they then take themselves I cannot say it is the patients fault because they didn't read the label and see the error. They put their trust in me to do my job correctly. Likewise, I put my trust in you guys to do this job correctly and you made a mistake in one of the most critical aspects of your business. I do regret not reading the fine print of your contract more carefully. The quote's documentation and conversation with your employees gave me no reason to question the integrity of your work. Please consider changing your quote forms to not have the 2 checkbooks for checking property lines and pins if you do not stand by those claims when under dispute. It gives a false sense of security to your customers. I am glad the Better Business Bureau is going to record this for your records so future customers can have a better chance of avoiding this issue. I am sorry it had to come to me leaving negative reviews for your company, but seeing as how your contract most likely protects you from being sued, it is the only power I wield to warn others about this policy. The public needs to be aware that this is how you handle this situation.
