I hired Angry Ducks Mover of Knoxville to load my belongings into six UBoxes on 9.28.2021. I moved from Knoxville, TN to Lebanon, TN. I paid them $1,060.95 for their moving help. I used my visa to pay them. After each box was loaded it was taken to the Uhaul storage facility in Farragut, TN. Then loaded onto a flat bed a couple of days later. My six UBoxes were stored at the Old Hickory, TN U Haul location until 10.14.2021. That was the day I moved into my new home. Several items were damaged in the move. When the Uboxes were opened you could see damage on several items before even being removed. I contacted Angry Ducks by phone and sent several pictures to the owner *****. He stated he didn't feel it was his fault. I had insured each box for $5,000. I first went to UHaul and filed a claim. Rep West their carrier just denied my claim this past week. They claim damage is due to faulty packing. I contacted Angry Ducks again. On 11.30.21 ***** the owner texted me that he would "email me a proposal shortly". He has not done so nor is he returning my calls or emails. It is my guess that I have roughly $12,800 in damages. I used what I thought was a trusted company (U Haul). I paid for moving help that had high ratings and was insured. I purchased insurance just in case because you never know. Now I have my claim for damages being ignored. I would appreciate your help in getting my claim settled. My new address is **** ******* ********** ******* ******** ** XXXXX. I put my original address at the top. Thank you.
