  Lenoir City robbery! Do not use college hunks. Even worse. I work for a corporate company. When it gets to talking to someone in corporate is usually when things are resolved in some way. They let me know they were sorry for what I went through but offered nothing but an immediate call from local store who handled my move. Never heard from them or any follow up! This was a 11 min move from one side of LC to the other. Things were packaged and ready to move on moving day. 6 years earlier, my move was a town house in Oak Ridge to LC. 5 stars with College Hunks. THIS time??? 6.5 hrs! Last time done and in LC in 3. Movers moved slow or not at all. Could not disassemble full bed frame...wasted trash. Had me help with sectional...took me to push knee on cushion and went just fine...they were saying they couldn't do it and it would go back outside. This was a ground lvl apt to a 1 floor duplex. They caused financial and emotional distress that still has not been addressed. They stole and gouged this price to over double what I was expected and could afford. Now even corporate knows and no remedy. A lot has changed in 6 years and I want everyone to know it is a ripoff and very hard to stand there and watch! DO NOT USE.

  Helped me move but damaged two out of three of my barstools (over *****, and they only gave *** as a resolution. It took several weeks for my complaint to be looked at, and it’s been over a month and I still don’t have the measly **** The mover knew he damaged the barstools and even asked where I got them from and tried to hide the damage. Do no use them!!!

  Accidents happen no matter how hard we try to avoid them. Customer opted for the ***** per pound minimum coverage for any damaged goods. We have not received the acceptance of resolution form required for reimbursement.

  These people are running a scam business. They tell you their rate is $139 per hour with you paying the first hour up front. Then they tell you it's a 2hour minimum. When they're done they say you owe us for two hours or $278. I say we have already paid for one hour. Oh that $139 was for drive time then its 2 hour minimum after that. So what they are doing is really charging you for 3 hour minimum so they break it apart to look like you are getting a good deal.. On top of that they sent two guys with very little experience at moving

  All of our moves have a travel fee. It is explained during the booking call. Then all of our moves have a minimum time set to them based on availability and time of year. In your case there was a travel fee of **** to cover the time to your job and from your job back. We collect a deposit on all jobs to hold your place on the calendar. Then you have the actual time on the job or the assigned minimum, which in your case was 2 hours. No scam or misleading. it was all explained in your recorded booking call. And was sent in your estimate. That is why we have you sign the estimate when we arrive so there is no misunderstanding. We are truly sorry you are not happy with our upfront pricing and billing.   I wish I could give negative stars! I used their services to pack a moving truck for a cross country move. AWFUL!!! All my furniture is scratched, there were dirty yard tools; shovels and rakes on top of my white couch. All my boxes were smashed. Wasted tons of space in the truck. It has now been 3 weeks since I filed a complaint. No answer. I will be taking further action. They are crooks!! Zero customer service

  We are sincerely sorry you had a bad experience with your cross country move. We packed a moving trailer for this customer on July 6th. Moving pads and wraps were recommended for protection but did not opt for those. The customer tipped the crew $189 and then called after they left to complain about their pack job. This does not line up. We informed we would send them back out to correct any issues she had and she refused. Then gave a poor review online stating stuff was damaged upon arrival to her destination on July 20th. We did not transport the stuff and without padding and wrapping things in uPack and pods get roughed up. Once we complete loading a trailer the liability lies with the carrier. We have no control with how they drive especially without properly protecting the furniture. We completed 2 end to end FULL SERVICE moves for this customer with no issues. The difference this time is we were not the carrier.

  No integrity or accountability, no clear price structure, no written contract, aggressive, rude, and unprofessional employees. Sat. 5-27-23; They arrived six hours late, Mike Mo was lead man. NEVER any eye contact. NOTHING like what the website promised. He said it would be an extra base charge for the first hour “because it was the weekend”. It would cost me X amount if it was half a truck worth of stuff, twice as much if it was a full truck worth. I estimated it would only be half a truckload, OR LESS. It took them A HALF AN HOUR to empty the apartment, and when Mike Mo said he’d have to charge me for a FULL TRUCK LOAD I said if they'd packed it carefully it would have been a half a truck load OR LESS. Mike Mo proceeded to CURSE AT ME, saying “this is bullshit” and “I’ll put all your **** right back here on the street”! I called the local office, said what was taking place, and that I didn’t want to pay the full amount he was demanding. FOUR TIMES THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE! The local office JUSTIFIED HIS RUDE AND INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR by saying “it had been a long day”!! She (at the local office) called Mike Mo and asked him to leave the premises, then told me that she would “run this up the chain” (of command), call her supervisor and get an adjusted final price, call me back and I could pay it. I began the long drive back home; two hours went by, and I hadn’t heard from her. (Never heard from any of them again.) Then the property manager for my Deceased Brother’s complex texted me with photos residents had taken of different College Hunks UNLOADING ALL THE CONTENTS OF THE APARTMENT ON THE PARKING SPACE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING!! UNBELIEVABLE. NEVER in my life have I been treated like this by a service provider or had this kind of experience. Not to mention the violation of the residents of the apartment complex. WHAT A NIGHTMARE… How does this company stay in business if these are their practices? Wow…..

  Sir these are lies and we will not argue. Fact is, you refused to pay, you told us you would pay after we left, we left then you said I will think about it call me in three days and ill let you know. We collect payment upon job completion. If you refuse to pay you cannot expect the services completed. We told you this prior to leaving. So since you refused to pay we returned your junk. Your rudeness was reported by every member of the staff you encountered. We wish you the best and sorry for your loss.

  Yes and naturally l disagree with your side of the story as well. There are good reasons why you are not accredited with the better business bureau and good reasons why CH Knoxville has lots of other negative reviews regarding your employees and your business practices. Don’t worry, the other local companies that are smarter and better will drive CH Knoxville out of business before long. I hope you sleep well at night.

  Today @ 420pm, your moving truck came into my complex in Maryville Tn hitting my truck. I saw this from my window. When immediately approaching them outside, they claimed they did nothing. They even pushed my mirror in. I explained that my truck was new, and they hit the drivers side mirror when backing up. The driver approached me, saying his junky moving truck was 250k and didn't seem remotely concerned that he hit our new truck. Ray (the passenger in the moving truck) was kind and did give me the drivers name (Grant), but was hesitant at first to do even that. Grant was rude, walking away. They refused to give me a contact number, and Ray looked in his phone, seemingly unable to find it. He told me his boss was named Joe.Obviously the practice of playing dumb and uncaring, as well as not taking responsibility, is represented by this company.

  The neighbor, our customer, and the drivers all communicated with this person and witnessed that they did not hit the car. They got out to adjust the mirror toward the vehicle so they would not hit the mirror. This happens in parking lots all the time. The mirrors are designed for this. This story has been embellished. This is not a customer.

  The above statement is definitely a lie. We saw them hit our truck from our window. That's why we hurried down to tell them. The driver was very non compliant and rude. I have a photo of the damage they cause. While small, it is a costly repair.

  Bait and Switch Tactics!
  
  This business was hired to remove a small spa from our deck. Originally, they were to come on 8/4/2022 between 2:30 and 4:30. At 3:43pm, I got a call indicating their truck was full, and we needed to reschedule. I requested the next day. No one called; no one arrived. In the afternoon, my husband called to inquire and was told that we were "not on the schedule."
  
  He spoke to Jesse in Customer Service and scheduled for today, 8/12/2022 before noon. The truck arrived with two guys who couldn't budge the spa, which only holds 200 gallons and 3 people. One of the men asked my husband for a screwdriver to remove the cover. That done, he called his manager Joey. The results of that conversation was that the quoted price for removal was jacked up from $285 to $430or higher, depending on how long it would take!
  
  My husband asked for the business card and was in the process of calling College Hunks when they jumped into their truck and took off! There has been no response from the business.
  
  I have never witnessed such underhanded and unprofessional behavior!

  We apologize for having to reschedule. Every job is different based on location of the item in the home, walking distance, whether we will carry out the item in one piece or cut it up, etc. The price starts at $285, and depending on the scenario once we are onsite and can ascertain the time requirements the price is told prior to starting the job. Mitch was the manager on duty who spoke with your hunks on site. I am truly sorry that the call center agent didn't properly inform you of the process and you think it underhanded or bait and switch.
