    This is the last communication we had from Obregon:
    "Hi there, thank you for this list. Johnny said that he will be out there sometime tomorrow to fix the detached light for you, as far as the other things that you mentioned, those will be addressed next week. thank you for your patience with us and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    No one came the next day, nor any day during the followIng week. There's been no call or email to explain, apologize, or reschedule.
    Because it was a hazard, we hired someone else to repair the light broken by Obregon, another expense for us. We also had to have our Internet provider remount the cables dislodged during painting.
    Other, less urgent, items on the list have become problems we have to live with. There are paint spatters everywhere, including window screens and plants; what could have been wiped away is now permanent. A screen door they replaced doesn't lock; there is mortar all over the brickwork they repaired after another incident of breakage. It began on the first day of work, when an Obregon employee broke an irreplaceable outdoor thermometer; for that, there has been no restitution or apology, just shrugged shoulders and laughter.
    Obregon's workers are careless, messy, and irresponsible; at times, even arrogant and rude. There is a language barrier and, I suspect, a level of misogyny expressed by a reluctance to accept decisions and questions from me.
    Save yourself a lot of trouble: don't hire Obregon.

    Mrs. ****** we hate to hear you had a bad experience with ******* Painting. First i would like to say, in my 21 years of experience, this has been the most difficult client/project thus far. From the very beginning of our communication you have been confrontational and extremely hostile. For example, my office employees and crew members were being disrespected on a daily basis without reason, so much so, we had a hard time keeping crew members at your house because of how they were being treated on your property.

    The only reason we talked to Mr. ***** instead of you was because he spoke to us with dignity, respect and got the information needed without confrontation. There was no misogyny toward you whatsoever.

    Mr. ***** cleared and paid us upon completion and touch ups as agreed. Weeks later, my office employees received yet another aggressive phone call from you with more demands and threats. We apologize for the delay in not getting those requests completed in a timely manner, but we would be happy to send someone out as soon as the weather allows.

    There are multiple other issues that were stated in this review that I have not addressed but I assure you that every mistake that was made BY US, were made right to the best of our ability but did not suffice to your liking.

    The response from ******* is indicative of my entire experience with the company. Some of it is simply untrue.
    I will be happy to show any interested party the non-confrontational emails I sent to *******, most of which they disregarded. I became more strident in my conversations only after they had let us down time and again.
    It's especially upsetting that ******* asserts they have taken care of every item on the list I sent to them (twice). They most certainly have not.
    They have indeed been paid, because my husband was ready to wash his hands of this unprofessional company. It was NOT because they had completed the job's clean up and repairs.
    The response says, "I assure you that every mistake that was made BY US, were made right to the best of our ability"; if Mr. ******* came to my home today, I would show him the sloppy mortar, paint splatters, and old paint still visible on the door frame where his employees simply did not complete their work.
