On December 18th 2023, I requested my medical records from Bearden Behavioral Health to be sent to Chattanooga Behavioral Alliance, and not only did the people at Bearden hang up on me several times, but they were rude and transphobic towards me after I had been a patient there for the last 4-5 years. As well, ******* (who would not give me her last name because she was scared after I threatened to report her to the BBB) said she was going to help me then continued to be rude, as well as another staff member. All I want is my medical results to be sent to Chattanooga Behavioral Alliance so I can get the proper treatment I need while in this new city that I have moved to, I do not appreciate how Bearden treated me, and I would like to report their behavior. I would also like to be rest assured that my medical records can get sent to the proper facility so I can get the proper service I desire.Initial Complaint

I had been seeing a therapist at BBH in 2022 and the start of 2023. Last year they had billing issues and I ended up paying hundreds of dollars to make up for their lack of attention to finances. This year I quit seeing my therapist because of billing issues. I should owe $40 for the 2 visits I had in January. They are charging me over $300 saying I missed payments last year. But I had already been through this with the last company that owned BBH and they said I was up to date. The new person said they applied the payments I paid to something else. I asked for a statement and the one provided is a mess of partials that do not match me paying my copays every visit. It is absolutely asinine that they can come back and change what I owe from over a year ago.
