We hired Breco Construction after interviewing 5 contractors. We hired them because of the Quote they provided as well as the promise to complete our home renovation in the 5 week timeline. We bought our home in May 2022 and had to be out of our apartment in June 2022. Their promise to meet the timeline was a huge deciding factor for us. Not only did they not meet the timeline but they fought us on budget every single time. Every time I would pick out a selection, he would tell me it was out of budget. I would have to refer back to the budget and show him that wasn't true. And then he would respond and tell me it was fine just to get whatever I wanted - acting as if I made him go over budget with every single selection (which was never the truth). They ripped out our hardwood floors that we were going to try and save for cost reasons. Instead of saying he would eat the cost, we had to go back and do a Change Order and pay for their mistake. They were paid to repair a fairly large hole in our subfloor (this was part of the Change Order - they caused this hole when they ripped up the floors they weren't supposed to). We paid for them to repair and to this date, it is still not repaired. They had unlicensed electricians in our home. Their work caused all sorts of potential safety hazards. After we fired Breco, we had to go back and pay a different electrician to fix all of their mistakes. We were supposed to get Quartz countertops. I kept telling him my selection and no one ever acknowledged me. They show up with the wrong countertops - much lower in quality than I picked out and there was MOLD on the bottoms of them. We ended up firing them for negligence on so many levels. They were paid almost $70,000 for work that we are now having to redo and pay for twice. Stay away from Breco, Early B*******, Gladiz P**** and Oscar P****. Horrible quality of work and liars.

We hired Breco Construction to do a flip home in Brentwood, TN. They lied and told us they had done high end projects in the past. We later found out this was not true. They asked for $83,901.34 upfront. We paid that right after we closed on the home. They began demo a few days after we closed on the home. After a few days of work, they stopped showing up at the home. It took them almost 3 weeks to apply for proper permits after promising they would apply right away. Obtaining permits was something they knew that had to be done in a timely manner to stay within the timeline. Time and communication were two reasons we hired them. They told us they would be in communication and that they would be able to complete the project in 4 months time. They ended up doing the demo wrong and caused us money and time in plumbing repairs. They lied about how it all happened. After so many lies, lack of communication and lack of urgency with timeline, we decided to cut ties. We agreed to pay them for the full demo costs even though they only did about 1/4 of the Demo. With this agreement in place, they would owe us $74,671.34. On July 28, 2022, Early and Gladiz told us they would return the money. Early looked into our eyes and said, "I ain't no criminal. You'll get your money back." That was last summer and we still have not seen our money after multiple attempts. DO NOT EVER USE BRECO CONSTRUCTION, EARLY B*******, GLADIZ P**** OR OSCAR P****. Their quality of work is horrible. They lied several times. And they are criminals for stealing money. I don't know how they look themselves in the mirror knowing them owe people almost $75,000. This complaint is in reference to a **** ****** home in Brentwood, TN.
