Purchased a vehicle from this business on June 23 for my wife's birthday. Car had several small things wrong with it nothing major..we thought. Was told check engine light was on due to the gas cap purchased a new one was then told check engine light was on due to a number of issues from the engine. The car had no side mirror purchased that. After having the car for 1 week the car had a blow out on the highway towed to a shop where we was told the tires were dry rotted. Contacted the business let them know they agreed to give me the money back for the tires. The same day the tires were out on the radio stopped working, car lot said to take car to their local garage we did. After two weeks of sitting at a garage constantly calling to get an update with no answers the car lot agreed to give all money back since I was wanting to return the vehicle while still in this 30 days. Went to car lot July 22 because still getting run around about getting money back was told to get the f** out of their business to not ever return and I would be getting no money back. I have never been treated so bad in my life, I explained to them I have been nothing but nice an giving them time for what reason I do not know. Now I am without a vehicle and without the money for another vehicle. I also have receipts along with paperwork proving everything I have said I am completely lost on what to do.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/02) */ The vehicle purchase, 2009 Volvo XC90, required a $1000 down payment. the customer did not have the full amount, we allowed $500 on June 23 with a deferred down payment due on June 30. (purchasers are always allowed to test drive before purchasing.) we contacted the customer after june 30th since no payment made. there was complaints made about the tires. in 19 years of business we never tell customers we will pay them cash back for repairs. nor do we give money back after a sale- down payments are used for sales tax, registration, drive out tags, etc. this is not profit made to us. it is a cost. She was told by the owner, if she paid for half the tires we would apply that amount to her remaining down payment - which meant, she still owed us $300 on her down payment, which was already past due. ******* n. called and spoke to me about how she was frustrated the mechanic was taking too long to repair the vehicle and she wanted to turn the vehicle in since she had purchased from us before and wanted to be in good standing. there was never a conversation about giving money back. I have worked for this company for 9 years. there was talk about putting her in a different vehicle. at another day after my conversation with *******, her mother or someone called the office yelling and cussing at my employee about how awful we were. because of the attitude, my employee refused to speak further with her. I also want to add - she has purchased from us before in 2019 and the vehicle was ultimately repossessed due to non payment.
