On Saturday November 6, 2021 I went to J&J auto care located in 510 Gallatin Pike N, Madison, TN 37115 (Phone: (XXX) XXX-XXXX) to diagnose and fix a humming noise that increased pitch as car went faster. Once I arrived to J&J auto care, **** received my car while I explained the problem. He and his workers lifted my car and rev the motor in order to listen to the front wheel bearings. One of his workers concluded that the front left wheel bearing was making the most noise, and needed to be replaced. **** commented that this type of bearing is expensive since it need to be installed under pressure. After 30 minutes, **** came in explaining that they were having a hard time taking apart the main assembly do to a wore out ABS sensor which he said was "Melted" and might need to be replaced, adding an extra charge to the service. Total: $557.18 He finally said that they replaced both the bearing assembly and the ABS sensor with a new one. Got my car back, and while driving back home I noticed that the ABS light was still ON and the humming was still there even though it was a little bit better. Once I started driving over 50m/h, car started SHAKING in a way it never did before. I immediately went back and told ****, he said "We can´t do anything anymore today, bring it on Monday". Brought it back on Monday November 8. Upon receiving my car back, it still had the same exact issue. **** was blaming the issue in my CV axle, saying it needed to be replaced even though it WASN´T shaking before they changed the bearing. Took my car to another mechanic and he said that the whole assembly was about to fail and that it was extremely hazardous for my safety. He concluded that J&J put the wrong part, sending me some videos I can provide with showing how parts did NOT match. Had to spend extra $1,062.18 dollars to get it fixed with my other mechanic. Went back to J&J autocare but **** did not acknowledge the mistake, and did not want to give me a refund. Invoice#: XXXXXXBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/12/23) */ I am sorry I just receive the claim for bbb about this car and the guy he said he just spent more than $1000 in another shop and I don't know what they did but when he came back to us and asking him for another $300 to replace the CV axle because the CV axle is bad the wheel bearing and the ABS sensor they was really bad we replace it and the ABS sensor because it was rusted we replace ABS sensor by still shaking and I asked the guy for another $300 to come back he say I cannot afford it he went to another shop and the other shop he blame it on me and he's tried to spend another thousand dollars in another shop instead he spend another $300 in my shop and he still have warranty and I told him when he coming back that part he still have a warranty for one year and no way I can install the wrong part in the car each car have part fit on the same car and we can not put wrong part on the car but they try to fix it some were else and get they money back from me
