Performed diagnostic and then outright REFUSED to submit it to a warranty company because they were convinced it would be denied and they were not going to “waste their mechanics time” Then waived the diagnostic fee, which definitely means the mechanics time was wasted. All managers agreed to be absolutely uncourteous and mean.

Hello ***** ******, Due visible damage caused by a collision; it is a type of repair is not covered under any warranty. We do not turn away work, because we don't want to make money. If you had a legitimate claim that a warranty company would honor, we would have assisted you. Sorry for your situation.

      Customer Response

You refused to submit my claim because it was a “waste of your mechanic’s” time and then waived the diagnostic fee, which DEFINITELY wasted your mechanic’s and my time. Refusing to submit a claim because you’re convinced it will be denied and then saying “you’re not going to force me to work with a warranty company” are two completely different answers from your GM and your service manager.

Zero stars. After getting my vehicle serviced I had engine over heating issues. I believe it was due to them overfilling the oil by a lot. After getting stranded on the side of the road and having my vehicle towed back to town and country they told me I had a sensor going bad. I was told the engine was not cracked and was all good. That the overfilling of the oil didn’t cause. Any issues it was the bad sensor. After they replaced the sensor I had the same over heating issue a day later. Getting stranded I. The side of the road again and getting no one to return my call at town and country I had it towed to another ford dealership. They found that the sensor was not bad and was not the issue that it was a cracked engine and had to have a new engine. I feel I should be refunded for the sensor. $901. Also they should reimburse me for the second towin bill. I have left messages also have emailed the GM Jeff also the service manager Mike and NOONE will return my calls. I would not recommend anyone to their service department. Price gouging and worst customer service ever.

Zero Stars. I took my vehicle to Town & Country Ford to have repair work done this month. After close to two weeks & $1,200 later, I pick up my vehicle which still had the same issues. Went back to address about the vehicle being not repaired. The customer service rep said it would be another two weeks before they could get to it so I asked for a refund. She went to get someone else & asked him about refund since my vehicle wasn't fixed, in which he said no, stating they would need to look at it again & I would also need to pay the $200 diagnostic fee again. I said we tried that already & left. I believe anyone with an IQ above a paper clip, would question paying for a service already, then be asked again to pay again may agree. Why would I pay again when the service wasn't done in the first place & by the way, besides the vehicle not being repaired properly the first time, now has an additional issue, which it didn't have when I brought it in the first time. I should have checked their rating first, so I'm only left to assume that if the dealership rating is low to begin with & if they stood by their business & employee work, they wouldn't be working for a one star rated business. I share this to other potential customers to consider taking your vehicle to a Highly Regarded Ford Dealership & safe yourself time, grief & money. In my experience it's not about customer service, it's about the all mighty Dollar.

ZERO STARS! Similar to other reviews, in December of 2021, I signed a sales order and paid a deposit of $500 to place an order for a new special order 2022 model year Ford from Town and Country. The build time was estimated at 3-5 months, and I was ensured that my deposit would provide price protection for the MSRP agreed to at the time of signing the sales order. The delivery was delayed several times over the course of the next 20 months, and in April of 2023, my model year was updated to a 2023 on Ford's own accord. I was never informed that Ford or Town and Country would no longer honor the price protection. My new truck was finally built in August of 23 and delivered to the dealer. I arrived for delivery, and for the first time was presented with a sales price that had been increased by over $8,000 to the 2023 model year MSRP. The manager's excuse for not honoring the originally agreed upon price was that Ford charged the dealer the current MSRP and that there was no way for them to recover the difference. It was unethical for Town and Country to wait until the day of delivery to inform me that they would not honor their price protection. Had I been informed earlier in the 20 month wait, I could have considered cancelling my order and spending my money elsewhere rather than waiting an additional 16 months and then having to pay an additional $8,000 on top of the delay. These actions by Town and Country and Ford Motor Co. were unethical and dishonest, and are indicative of why car dealerships such as theirs earn a bad reputation. Ford experiencing production delays should not alleviate Ford or their dealer from honoring their special order commitments, especially when they sell customers on the premise of price protection. They both point the finger at each other, and the customer is left holding the bag on top of waiting an additional 16 months for delivery. An unethical sales strategy by Ford and their dealer equates to bad business, plain and simple.

      09/28/2023

*** **** as explained before, we have no control over Ford's production of vehicles. The Ford Raptor is not price protected from 1 year to the next. Ford doesn't even provide special pricing to it's employees on the Raptor vehicle's. You paid below the MSRP for your 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor. You were not required to purchase as we have refunded deposits on a regular basis. We could have easily sold that vehicle to someone that wanted it. It would have been awesome if Ford had built your vehicle and you were able to take delivery of it then. It would have made everyone all the happier. We did nothing wrong.

Genuinely zero regard for their customers or any urgency to get people back on the road. I asked the manager if he would be okay giving up his car for 25 days to which he had no response. Ended up collecting my car as they hadn’t even run a diagnostic test after 25 days. Same excuse every time I called about only having 1 tech. No attempt to ever call me. I always had to take time out of my day to call them and wait on hold. I don’t know why they have Ford in their title. When I told the GM the issue seemed like a manufacture issue and is under warranty he told me to take it up with Ford. No apology or attempt to make amends. Avoid this place.

Worst worst worst. I would have not even given a star. Had our vehicle for 3 weeks due to a back order on a part. We understand that happens but the staff was extraordinarily rude and combative. No communication and horribly rude when we asked for updates. Oddly enough we called another shop and they were able to get the part in 4 days and repair it for half the cost. We were originally quoted almost $4000 but when we said we would pick it up the price magically came down to $2800. We got it done, with kindness, for $1400! Do not trust these horrible people!

Town & Country Ford, Inc. Response

      08/22/2022

The 4-day part is aftermarket. We do not use aftermarket. In no way shape and form is it okay for you to throw things at our staff and use profanity. I commend our Service Advisor for being polite and replying with "Have A Nice Day" after being hit him in the face with wadded up paper. I do hope this means you will not return.

      Customer Response

      08/22/2022

I did not throw anything or use profanity. The staff was never nice, helpful of skilled at their jobs. When I called I was treated like a problem. After three weeks of no urgency, rude language and total disregard for our family and our livelihood we picked up the vehicle without a single thing being completed. At no time was your staff kind or proactive. We understand that parts can be on back order but that was not the issue. Your treatment of us was terrible.

Town & Country Ford, Inc. Response

      08/23/2022

I apologize - it was your husband whom the repair was for that gave the OK recorded on 8/3/22 and who is seen on the camera wadding up the paper and throwing it directly at the advisor, even making sure to miss the monitor just to hit him with it. On the recording the advisor was more than nice and doing what he could to help. It would have been ideal if we had the part in-stock or it was available in a far more timely manner. Had it come in your husband would have been updated.

      Customer Response

      08/23/2022

I was treated like a second class citizen when I called IF anyone answered. Also, you should know- your customer service advisor called me a name. AT NO TIME DID I DESERVE THAT. I was continually patient and polite. I never raised my voice. Never was disrespectful.
Clearly you want to focus on a wadded up piece of paper - a receipt from a charge from nothing being completed. A threat of an employee saying he would keep our vehicle because he jumped to conclusions.
Bottom line - FOR THREE WEEKS YOU TREATED US LIKE CRAP, CHARGED US FOR NOTHING, THREATENED TO KEEP THE VEHICLE THAT WE RELY ON FOR INCOME, CALLED ME A NAME.
When you can't answer to my concerns as an individual clearly because I'm a woman and clearly to you have no autonomy. I believe individuals willl see why my husband got frustrated.
You don't want to focus on my complaint. Me as an individual. This complaint has to do with how I feel I was treated. An individual.
Maybe focus on why I am frustrated. I'm willing to have a conversation with someone willing to hear my complaint. My concerns.

Ordered a ford Maverick in July 2021, put deposit down and had to sign order. Finally took delivery at the end of April 2022. Asked about price protection and was told it is not a thing. Dealership charged over $2000 more for my vehicle then the agreed upon price. Was told if I did not want to pay it they could sell it to someone else for much more. Reached out to gm after purchasing and was told my vin is not eligible for price protection. Called ford and was told they are unable to hold the dealership accountable for this.

THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY 65YRS. DO NOT USE THEM! THEY LIE TO YOU CONSTANTLY AND HAVENT FIXED THE PROBLEM AFTER A MONTH AND $700.00. AND THEY CAN'T SAY WHEN THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FIX WHAT THEY SAID WAS ALREADY FIXED. *************

Hello Mr. ****** I believe there was a misunderstanding of your vehicle situation. It did take 4 hours to get the tire needed and that was a delay that was out of our hands. I believe the Shop Foreman has received a diagnosis on your vehicle which he will discuss with you over the phone. Unfortunately your vehicle is of the age that parts availability is a real struggle and some times those parts become obsolete. This too is out of our hands.

My car was involved in an incident in December 2021. I called and spoke with multiple collision repair companies, I felt comfortable with Town and Country Ford because they showed concern, bad choice my car was there for 3 weeks because they were backed up. I was cool with waiting as long as my repairs were done correctly. I felt they rushed my repairs to get my money.

After 4 days of driving my vehicle, the left front tire which they were supposed to repair locked up, so I had to get it towed on my own dime, once they received my car they stated they'll get to it when they have time. So I'm without a vehicle until they decide to fix my car.

Avoid taking your vehicle here if you want quality service, and value your vehicle. My car was a Ford so I assumed this would be a no brainer. I should have went to ******************

Mr. ***** and I spoke this morning. When he returned the vehicle here, he/or the tow truck driver, took it to service and not the Body Shop. Body Shop couldn't start on it, because they didn't have it and were not told that it was across the street. After speaking with the customer and he said it was here, we began a search and found it in the wrong place. Now it is with Body Shop and they are looking into the issue. It is a matter of diagnosis and who will pay for the repair. If insurance declines, then it is up to the customer to pay or decline and handle how he sees fit. Body Shop is not at fault for something not on their lot.

I contacted the dealership about my recalls and I also had a transmission problem that my warranty covered. I spoke to Corey J****** and he told me to have my car towed in so it could be looked at. I did and they told me it was my transmission that was bad and needed a new one. He told me it may take a lil longer due to covid which was fine. My warranty company only covered 12 days and he said we would work out the rest of the days. Mind you every morning im calling about my car to see if my transmission was there or if they had started to work on it. He told me my hood was hard to get up and that they didnt have the tools to get it open because it was stuck. After almost a month of my car being there he told me no one opened it because nobody was getting paid to do the work to open my hood! After i told them they need to do what they had to do because it was mandatory that they fix it i guess thats when they got the tools needed to start. Mind u nobody has called to give me updates or the status on my car and everytime I called it was we're still waiting. So as time went on he finally called and said that my vehicle should be ready that day i told him i wouldnt be able to come that day because it was almost time for my kids to get out of school. He told me ok thats fine and that he wouldnt be in that Friday because he was getting married on Saturday. He told me he would call me Monday so we can get everything together well thatvday came around he still didnt call I called them it wasnt for another week or so that he sent me a text talking about them trying to reach me for a payment on the rental and i have records iny phone to ahow where i had been calling them and they wasnt calling me at! When i finally picked up my car my steering wheel was crooked amd could have cause me or my kids to be in grave danger. I told them about it before me leaving the shop and he said it was my tire rod had it looked at and that wasnt it. They didnt put my steering wheel back correctly from the recall im guessing cause it sure as heck wasnt like that before i brought it there at all! So today they had it towed back to the shop to try and figure it out. My kids have missed school because of this as well as doctors appts. I jus feel like i was given the run arounds and because it was little ole me they could tell me anything. Not to mention they broke my lever to open my hood and now i gotta open it with a tool if that was to strip it would be on me when before it was working jus fine. After this they will never have to worry about me again. The communication skills were horrible!!!!!!!!!
