We contracted a local service for trash pickup when we moved into our new home. In October, we starting having issues with them showing up when they were supposed to and not collecting trash they were contracted to collect. When we called to complain, the office manager, *******, was extremely rude and after talking with the office staff three times and being told the issue would be fixed ******* called us and told us they were sending us an extra bill for $20 because they had to come back out to pick up trash. We informed "*******" that they had to come back out because they didn't pick it up two Fridays in a row and that was not our problem. We did everything the office staff told us to do after we spoke with them multiple times. I explained that we would not be paying an extra charge, nowhere in the contract does it say that, and that if they were going to charge us extra each time they failed to do their jobs that we would find another trash collection service, and she "politely" told me " that's fine bc I'm canceling your service anyway." We called the next day and asked for the owner or a manager or someone above "*******" to call us back but we never received a call. We did however receive a $20 bill in the mail for the "extra trip" and they have continued to charge our debit card for monthly service that they are not providing and that we were told was canceled over a month ago. When I call the only number available for the business I get the run around and no one seems to be able to cancel the account other than "*******" who is conveniently busy, and they are supposedly unable to get hold of the owner or anyone who can resolve the issue for us. This has been going on for over a month. When I went to their Google reviews I saw multiple complaints about the same issues we are having and I believe they may be purposefully not returning calls in order to accrue more charges/money. I have no other means of contacting the business owner and would like help.Business response

Consumer Response /* (2000, 6, 2022/11/25) */ The owner finally called us back Nov 23rd and said he is going to take care of the issue and cancel the account with a zero balance. Hoping this will resolve the issue. Thank you.Initial Complaint

This company has different website rules than what they discuss over the phone. Online they will pick up garbage at your garage door if within 10 feet of the can. I had a car parked on the other side within ten feet and they wouldn't pick my trash up. They sent a driver back out to get it without telling me it couldn't be near the car. I called to request them come back and they wouldn't. The next week we put the garbage in the middle of the driveway and they didn't pick it up. When I called them they said it had to be at at end of the road for them to pickup it up. I am fully able to put it at the road and would have if they had told me.. They have neglected to pick up our garbage now for 2 weeks and state they can't send another person to come get it until next week. They also ran off of our driveway into our grass 3 times and dug it out and refuses to pay for it. This company is a slum company. We pay them every month for a service. Any communication should be told to us before changes are made. They also falsely state they have spoken with my husband which is not the case. he has never made any contact with them only me his wife. Any time I call them they lie and change the story to suit their own business needs. I would like a refund for the lack of garbage pick up and for them to fix the side of our driveway.
