I took my car to Westbrook Automotive on 3/1/24 I got it back on 4/1/24. I told ***** that it had a code C121C. He acted as if he was knowledgeable about what was needed to repair my car. Weeks went by. One day I called ***** to check the progress. He said angrily to me I could come pick up my car and get it out of his way. He told me he did circuit test, but when I looked at my vehicle, Nothing looked as if anything was touched. During the time he had my vehicle, his attitude had become hostile toward me. I noticed when I picked my car up they had sending out a lot of certified letters. He also told me because of that code. They really dont do that and I should take my car somewhere else maybe back to the dealership for more programming, but He led me to believe that they could repair my car at first. ***** told me to take it to the dealership for more programming, because they dont do that but thats not the conversation I got when I dropped it off. The advertising implies they specializes in Chrysler, Jeep Dodge, but he said no we really dont do much with Chrysler, which is deceiving. If this man knew that he could not deal with that code, he should not accept my vehicle, and I should be giving my money back. No one should ever tell a customer come and get your vehicle out of my way. I should be giving my money back because he did nothing to prepare my vehicle as promised I still have the same problem I came there with. He just restated the problem on the receipt.

***************** called and asked if we worked on Chrysler 200 vehicles, she mentioned she had a code C121C which usually leads to throttle body, wiring harness, computer or other causes.  She dropped vehicle off, we had to work the vehicle in as we were extremely busy.  We ran a diagnostic and had communication codes.  We checked wiring harness connections to throttle body, engine harness connections at ECM and checked for other areas of wiring harness damage.  All connections tested fine.  I explained to her that we did not find any open circuits but still had communication codes.  We referred her to go to the dealer as vehicle may require additional programming or computer.  We do not do programming on Chryslers.  I told her this upon drop off.  We have never done programming on Chryslers due to the high cost of software. I had told ***************** that we would have to work her vehicle in and it could be a bit before we got to it due to workload. She had called and was upset that her vehicle was not ready.   That is when I became impatient and told her she could pick up her vehicle.  We only charged her for 1.5 hours of diagnostic when in reality much more time was spent.

As for certified letters, this has nothing to do with her vehicle or her.  We have to send out certified letters on impounded vehicles that we tow for our MPD and ************ Rotation calls.

Someone else had previously done work on her vehicle to chase down this code.  According to her, throttle body and computer had been replaced or worked on.  Difficult to go behind others not knowing for sure what has been done or what parts had been installed.
