I took my truck to their shop to have my transmission rebuilt. They told me it would take 3 days and the total would be **** dollars. I had to pay a deposit of **** dollars before they could start on my truck. So I paid what I had to pay. I took it on a Monday and picked it up on a Friday. I drove it a couple days before I went on vacation and I left it parked at the airport. When I returned, I was driving on the expressway and the engine light came on and my truck seemed like it was going to cut off. The next morning I took it back to the business and they said I had too much oil in my truck. They said they were going to keep my truck and strain some of the oil out of it. They kept my truck for 2 weeks and they weren't answering my calls so I decided to pop up and my truck was gone. The worker was gone in my truck. When he came back, I left. A few days later my engine light came on and the gears wasn't changing. So I took my truck back up there and they kept it for 3 weeks. They stopped answering to my calls and messages so I popped up there and got my truck. I took it to another shop and they said my transmission was bad. They repaired it. I took the paperwork and receipts to R.M. to get my refund and they will not give my money back.Business response

Everytime a customer comes to the shop we get them to filled out a contract, at the end of the contract it tells the customer that in order for us to start working on the vehicle they have to leave 50% down and they have to pay the rest once the car is ready. About an employee driving the vehicle, we drive the vehicles after the work is done to make sure the gears are shifting before the customer take the vehicles. About you taking the vehicle somewhere also, we never said we was not going to honor the warranty but you choose to take the vehicle when we was about to start working on your vehicle and take it somewhere also, that's on you, we invested time and money on that transmission as well and we was willing to checked and make right, but you choose no to let us.

My name is Tasherika ***** last year n the month of July I sent my car to AM AUTO REPAIR to get my transmission rebuilt! I had a 6 month warranty on my car! He had my car up there For ************* before he even started n got finished with my car! Everysince after I got my car done I've been having problems out my car since he rebuilt my transmission! I gave him $1400 dollars up front when he came to pick the car up! I've been bringing my car back n foward to his shop to get fix n Everytime I've brought my car up there ****** has had my car up there 3 weeks each time! This first time my transmission was leaking so he had to fix that but my car was still was messed up so I took it back to him he said that my pump was bad inside my transmission so once he claim he did that after having my car 3 more weeks so when I went to pick it up it was driving really bad ..before it got dropped off it wasn't driving like that! So once it got picked up drove it to the light on ****** street n notice it was driving really bad so turned around to take the car back to him! After that he had my car for 3 more weeks so ******* mechanic had to pop up at the shop to see what was going on! He say it was my motor mounts that needed to be replaced ! But my mechanic told him that it wasn't my motor mounts that it was something going on with transmission! So ****** told my mechanic which is (***************************) that if I get motor mounts & the car doing the same thing that I could bring my car back up ********** will fix it! So I got 3 motor mounts brand new n my mechanic put them on my ******** car was doing the same thing! So we had to take the car back up there & this time I was up there 3 weeks almost 4 weeks again ****** said he would fix the problem that they caused on my car but not he saying my warranty is up! But I been taking my car back n forth before my warranty was up n been having problems since he did my car! I've lost 2 jobs because of ****** now I'm without a job!Customer response
