Earlier, I took my car to SPD to have the windows tinted. They said it would take a few days for the tint to set and the air bubbles to disappear so I parked the car and went out of town for work. A few days later, my girlfriend called to say there was trash under the tint on the back window. After returning a few weeks later, she was right. There was trash between the tint and glass on the rear view window. SPD told me to bring it in, apologized for the bad job, and said I would have to leave it to be redone. I said okay, call a Lyft, and went home. Later, they called to say the entire rear view window will have to be replaced because the defrost lines were coming off with the tint during removal and it will be a few days before I get my car back. A couple days later, they called to say my car was ready. Upon arrival, I complained that there was still trash under the tint. They assured me that it wasn't trash anymore but rather air bubbles that would go away as the tint sets. I didn't really agree with that assessment, but since the outside of the glass was dirty and it began sprinkling, I accepted his explanation under the belief that " surely they would pay attention this time and not send it out with trash under the tint again." So I park the car, and went back out of town for work confident that the problem was corrected. A few days later, my girl called again to let me know that "yo window still trashy"( she got jokes). When I got back and contacted SPD over the phone, i was told there's nothing they can do about it because they already replaced the window once. Before and after the sale, I was assured that there was a lifetime material and workmanship warranty on this tint job. How does this not fall under replacement or refund? It looks like they dropped the film on the floor, the trash was down there stuck to it, and instead of washing it off or getting another sheet of tint, they just applied it as is. This was a lazy, unprofessional tint job.
