Around early to mid November my MacBook Pro (mid-2015 model) started to show a hazard sign on the battery area in the top right of the screen. I brought it to the Apple Store but they wanted quite a bit just to replace the battery. So I took it across the street to iFix Memphis. The guy I talked to there was super nice, understood my problem, and ordered a part for me. About a week or so later the battery came in and I took it back to iFix, but I was told they didnt have a computer guy on hand and that Id have to take the laptop and battery down the street to the other iFix location. When I got there, I dropped it off and within 4 hours it was ready for pickup. Everything seemed alright, but my laptop kept abruptly dying at around 30%. I kept trying to charge it and get it below 20% but it kept dying between 27-34%. I checked for errors and ran diagnostics and the battery came back as an issue. I called iFix back and they asked me to bring it back in and theyd swap the battery free of charge. I brought it back in and dropped it off. After about a week and a half I get a call from **** explaining that he wasnt able to fix my trackpad and that he couldnt find a replacement. Confused by this, I called him back and told him my trackpad was fine when I brought it in, my battery was the part that was failing. He tried to tell me that the trackpad just failed and that the battery was fine and that it was ready. He said if I buy the trackpad myself, then theyd fix it. It took me about 2 minutes to find a replacement trackpad available for sale. I picked up the laptop, ran some of my own testing and I cant get the trackpad to respond to anything. This problem is the exact reason I didnt do the repair myself. Any video you watch about replacing the battery of a MacBook stresses how easy it is to damage the trackpad. Worst yet, I ran diagnostics immediately when I got home and this battery is failing too. Out ~$140, two failed batteries and they broke my Mac more.

I brought my phone in for a simple screen replacement. When I tried to pick it up, they had lost it. Weeks went by without hearing from them unless I called myself. They finally realized thry gave my phone to the wrong person. While I'm glad to finally have found my phone, I still have some concerns. My phone was in the hands of a stranger for 17 days filled with sensitive data, passwords, and photos. I don't know if the person accessed it or not, but I've been getting a lot of unusual activity on my bank account. The stranger also reset the phone, causing me to lose everything on it. I've lost business contacts, photos, and logins from the past 3 years from just a simple screen replacement. I can't see what was accessed since she wiped the entire phone. This whole situation has me highly concerned about my privacy and lost data.
