5/9/22 ************************* DBA Ai Custom Stone requested a check for $5,400 for initial supplies for bathroom remodel. Estimated time for complete would be two weeks.5/9/22 ************************* started demolition of bathroom 5/10/22-5/26/22 Demolition continued with him only working 1-3 days a week 5/28/22 ************************* requested additional $2,200 to buy remainder supplies to complete project. Total money received is $7,600 6/6/2022 After a week of ************************* not returning calls or texts to contact me I sent another text asking for him to please finish the work. I explained that since the demolition my house has been unlivable because that was my only shower/tub and as a healthcare worker that was very needed. In the past few weeks I've had to stay with friends or in hotels. I've also had to board my dogs for over 6 weeks since I have no place for them.6/17/2022 ************************* has still not done anything since demolition. He refuses to finish job or refund money for supplies purchased which he has in his possession.Initial Complaint

*************************** (also does business as A I Custom Stoneworks) accepted a deposit of $5,400 on Nov. 12 for quartz countertops for kitchen remodel. Countertops to be installed week of March 1. Original delay due to sink being lost in shipping. New install set for week of March 7. Refused to return calls or texts. Communicated with kitchen designer who recommended him that install would take place in early April. Scheduled for April 8. No show, no call, no communication. Admitted to designer on May 9 that countertop is "missing" or has been stolen. Has not communicated with me, the client, since April. Told designer he would refund deposit on May 11. To date, no communication, no refund of deposit. Cannot stress enough how unprofessional ************************* has been throughout this entire ordeal. His lack of competence and communication has cost me time and money and put my renovation behind by months.
