First of all, this was a medical procedure to unlock my daughters jaw do to TMJ. They required me to pay 450 at time of service and billed me for another 350 later. When I called them to ask if they had filed with my insurance, they said they don't file medical insurance just dental. The *** shows they filed it under dental in which only the exam was covered. After talking with *****, they advised me to have them file it under medical. I called the provider and was informed that I could file it under medical myself, but they do not file medical insurance. They said I would have to pay the 350 balance and then they would release what I needed to file insurance myself. However, after I paid the 350 the procedure code was missing on receipt and when I asked her for it, I was told they do not have medical codes. So, of course ***** rejected the claim. I contacted a Cigna advocate who informed the provider of their contract agreement and that they needed to file this claim and after much discussion, the provider agreed. However, they never filed. So, the contracted amount I should have paid is not resolved. Which is less than I paid.
