This business is trying to over charge me after they said one thing was wrong but changed it to another problem which was way way over priced and now that my truck is torn apart and I can not drive it out they shop as I was able to drive it to there shop over 140 miles away from my home now I have to pay a extremely high price to have it towed back to my place not only that they are wanting to charge me $4389.67 to pick my truck up but gave me a cash price of $3800 if I pick it up by December 16, 2023 which is way over priced for doing nothing but making my problem worse by me not being able to drive my truck out there shopCustomer response

MY TRUCK WAS BREAK DOWN ON MAY 10TH AT TRUCK STOP IN **************** NEAR BY THE MECHANIC SHOP AND THEY CAME TOWED THE TRUCK TO THERE GARAGE AND INFORMED THE DRIVER THEY WILL WILL LET ** KNOW THE PROBLEM BUT THE MECHANICS COULD NOT FIND THE MAIN PROBLEM FIRST THEY SAID THE PROBLEM IS WITH HARNESS THEY LATER SAID THATS NOT THE ISSUE SECOND THEY SAID THE PROBLEM IS WITH TCM BURNED OUT AND THEY DONT HAVE THE RIGHT PARTS TO FIX IT. SO WE BOUGHT THE PARTS AND SEND TO THE MEACHANIC, AFTER THE REPLACING THAT PART LATER THEY FOUND THATS NOT THE REAL ISSUE THERE IS PROBLEM WITH CLUTCH THEN THEY FIXED THE CLUTCH.ALL THESE DIAGNOSE AND FIXING TIME MORE THAN 4 WEEKS AND WE END UP PAYING $******** ACTUAL COST SHOULD BE $**** INSTEAD OF THAT THEY CHARGE ** ******** THE TRUCK IS NOT PROPERLY DRIVABLE AND IT SHOWS LOT OF ERROR CODES SHOWING UP ON THE **** BOARD AND THEY DID SOMETHING WHEN THEY LIFT THE **** ENDUP DAMAGING AIR SUSPENSION TOO AND THEY CHArged for that also even the mistake from the mechanic shop kindly please investigate this issue and please get my money back after **** i lost the business because they took 1 month to fix this problem instead taking 4 days.MTED TRANSPORT **********************************************Business response

In response to your letter from MTED they brought a semi truck into our facility to get repaired and the transmission was not shifting into gear and we hooked our diagnostic computer on the truck and found thier was no signal to the Tcm and we pulled harness down and repaired short and found the shorted wire caused the Tcm to burn out and tried to order new one but it was on national Backorder and not available from the ******* Kenworth dealer for 3 weeks!!
So we had told the owner and he said he would get it and shipped it to us taking about a week to get it and we installed it and found it was not programmed and we had dealer come and program it and now we could read codes and the clutch was not engaging and we called owner which he gave us permission to install new clutch and that took us another 6 days to get the parts and install and programmed and all worked good
There was a Memorial Day weekend involved to that our company took off for 2 days which we told the customer as well.
I answered every phone call when he called and texted him a lot and he was very much informed on the time and parts used !! We are sorry he is upset but when he signed the bill he signed the invoice line that says he was satisfied with the work and parts.Business response

On Friday, September 8th, I dropped my semi-truck off informing them that it needed fuel filters. I authorized repairs for the fuel filter only. The next day I asked what would the price be so that I could keep up with how much I could afford to pay and **** kept giving me the run around regarding the price. I also asked ****** what the price would be. He failed to give me a price. I asked another person for the price and again was given the run around. On Tuesday, September 13, I was sent a bill for $2,279. I informed them that I asked them several times what the price would be because I would have not authorized that much of a charge. Moreover, my truck is still not up and running with almost a $3000 bill.I feel that I have been price gauged.
