March 2022, I contacted D&M Contracting for flooring and tile work. They sent their flooring technician *************************** with Perfection Flooring to review the services I required. I received a texted quote from D&M Contracting. Monday, March 28, 2022, *************************** and another worker showed up to commence the work. The project seemed to be going smoothly, even though they contractors showed up late and left early every day. April 1, 2022, the project was complete, and the contractor was paid in full. April 2, 2022, I noted several flaws in the workmanship. April 3, 2022, a text and pictures were sent to *************************** of the flaws I found. A week later he came to review the workmanship. Approx. a week and a half later, he came to make the repairs, but by that time, I had the opportunity to review and pointed out more flaws. He became disgruntled and upset with me. He first said he would get with his distributor and replace the flooring at his cost. He then advised me as he was walking out to have my husband to call him. At no time did my husband communicate with them or pay them. He told me that by the end of the day he would contact me with a date he would come back. As of today, he is refusing to have any communication with me. D&M Contracting came out to review the work as well. My house is still in disorder. Another contractor came out and noted that it would cost as much to repair floor as it would to start all over again. I am requesting full refund due to the breach of contract and to finally get my house back in order and I can get this behind me. Plus, they scratched the door handle to my stainless steel refrigerator. I would not be comfortable with them back in my house because I was advised he had my home on ******** Live which goes against my privacy rights.
