I wouldn't entrust them with my pet, let alone a loved one. The pictures online is not what you will receive. They arrived late and we're in professional. The (1) flower arrangement I received was old, and I was charged $900.00. They operate with a third party. We never were allowed into the Mortuary. I believe their operating out a garage. Pathetic! I am still emotionally devastated by the treatment of Golden Gate Funeral Home located ************************************************* 38126!!Never trust your love one to the Golden Gate Funeral Home. Our love one body was picked up by the Golden Gate Funeral Home on August 5, 2022. We were never allowed to see or view the body until the day of the funeral on August 20, 2022. The estranged wife of ******************************, is also the Director at Golden Gate Funeral Home (that how all the paperwork was signed). Therefore, everything went through her. We were contacted by friends and family that Golden Gate Funeral Home at *************************** was not able to receive flowers. We contacted the funeral home and was instructed to send all flowers to the church. Unfortunately, the church was not able to accept any flowers until 10 AM the day of funeral. The date of death was incorrect on the temporary grave marker at the Cemetery and this information was done by the estranged wife/Director of Golden Gate Funeral Home. We were quoted one price by the estranged wife/DIrector of ******** but the amount paid directly from the deceased account was $5,702.00 because the invoice was taking to the bank by the estranged/Director of Golden Gate Funeral Home.We are totally upset and confused trying to understand how the wife could be objective as the acting funeral director. The children, mother, brothers sisters and other family members were NOT given any respect. Please help us to investigate Golden Gate Funeral Home so no other family will endure this type of pain and service for their love one. This was truly a heartbreaking experience.
