I have bought at least 2 other non-leather couches in this store before and after the disgusting state of the couches after years of use, I decided to buy a leather couch with extended warranty in January 2024. In October 2024, the faux leather underneath the seating area started peeling and I called the company warranty, and they denied the claimed due to my dogs. The dogs were not an issue but the daily use of seating and putting my toes underneath the seats. They lost me as a customer, and I will tell my friends not to buy the warranty if you have dogs. The customer care department is very unprofessional. I have been trying to get an update on repairing or replacing my coffee table that was purchased from the store on *************. A company, AHM came out and inspected the table and I was told that the furniture was warped. He informed me that this happens because the furniture is placed in the warehouse too long. I was informed that he would informed Royal about his finding and to give them a couple of days to follow up with them regarding the status.He stated the he would gladly have the store to order a new top or have it replaced, however it was their call. I phoned the customer care department regarding ***** three days later on 2/22/24 and got the voicemail. I have left messages daily and no response. I phoned the store and was transferred to customer care where I have left messages daily regarding updates on status. I will never purchase furniture from these people again. Customer care is doesn't return phone calls.Review from Chester A

********************* in collections has a very nasty a** attitude. She acts as if her own color is beneath her. You can explain s*** to her because she thinks she knows more than you. Talking all loud on the phone , yelling and screaming. She works at the corporate office in ******* ** and I will be moving forward with this. The main office in ******* has an accountant who has Nasty attitude her name ************* have a home office building her customer are not allowed in side. I have been trying to have my over payment on a wage assignment she is rude on the phone . She told me if I had paid my obligations I wouldn't be having this problem, well there were situations in my life that created that problem. She put the court order thru twice and tried to collect. I think if I get an attorney I will discover l am not the only one. This my be a class action situations.Royal Furniture Company Response

I dont normally write a review so Im going to make this quick and straight to the point. BUYERS BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR WARRANTY, its a ripoff. We purchased a mattress set 5 yrs ago with a 10 yr warranty. We submitted a claim recently and a tech came out to take pics and measurements, pictures was taken with a cell phone smh, he stated we were right at the 1.5 **** just a tag bit under he said someone will be calling in a few days with the decision (HA) that didnt happen so I called and spoke with ******** customer care manager and was told it didnt meet the qualification for a replacement to file another claim in 90 days smh so my husband called back spoke with ******** when I tell you she was so rude, unprofessional with an attitude. **************** these days are terrible, he asked to speak with her manager she said shes the only manager so he asked to speak with someone in corporate boy she really got an attitude he asked for a higher up name and phone she said he cant speak with you and abruptly transferred the call to a voicemail that is full Smdh See they dont tell you everything about the warranty theyre just making a sale. As much money we paid for the mattress set and other furniture there and the warranty what is the purpose of buying a warranty when they find anything wrong to keep from replacing things. All the reviews Ive read Im not expecting a call or response because this place is terrible with trying to please their customers most of the replies Ive read they are trying to justify the reason for not helping solve the problem theres no more of the customer is always right and I see why theyre not ACCREDITED BY THE BBB they are not deserving of it.Review from Monica W

A zero they not trust worthy they not up to up they tell you one thing commercial show another then they lie so much from the store to customer service they said you get a 70 tv with a electric recliner that's what I have then they said it was the gray color then ***** when I told them I have brown then that not the name brand name that's not what the ad on TV say then serial number they say any thing to get you in they storeRoyal Furniture Company Response

I am writing to you today to express my disappointment with a recent purchase (sofa)from your company. On August 22 the sofa was delivered to my home. Upon a tenth month inspection, I found it to be damaged. The damage to the product is defective and unusable. The back of the sofa frame is damaged and broken, the frame and the fabric are damaged. I contacted customer service and the *** department on four occasions to report the damage, and to request repairs or to replace the Sofa. ************** told me only the fabric was covered but not the frame under warranty. The technician came to my home twice. The first technician came out to take pictures of the sofa but had to reschedule another appointment after ************** sees the damage in the picture (the technician emails the picture to her). I waited four weeks, no response. Ms. *************************** is the person that oversees the issue concerning the warranty. I called her back and she stated the frame(sofa) was not covered; the only thing covered was the fabric. I started catching her in more lies about the warranty this was very disturbing and frustrating because I knew she was being dishonest about the warranty. She was rude and our conversation ended up into an intense argument. I asked her to let me speak to her manager and she hung up the phone. *** and the technician seek to get approval through ************** to take care of this issue. I need approval from ************** before the repairs can be done, but she is not being cooperative. The wood is sticking out of my sofa, and I have small kids and it injures them. I am writing to you today in the hopes that you will be able to help me resolve this issue. I am a loyal customer of your ********************** and I have never had any problems with your products or services in the past. We do apologize if you feel your claim has been mishandled.The damages on the sofa were covered by the warranty and were scheduled to be repaired. When the technician came out, we were advised that the customer did not allow him to complete the repairs at that time. At that time, the claim had been closed. We regret that we are unable to perform repairs from the manufacturers warranty within your 1-year warranty period. You are more than welcomed to contact a furniture repair company to have the repairs completed. From the saleslady ******* to the delivery driver, everyone proffessional and give complete courtesy. I have had at least six accounts from downtown, ***** and ********** stores. I don't have not 1 complaint. I still have same bedroom suit at 15 years old and passed the rest of my furniture to greatgrandson. .
